My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am who I am. Or more like I am who I need to be depending on where I am, who I am around, the time of the day, the amount of sleep I've had, the amount of caffeine I've had, what should be going on at the time, and by what new grand universal thought is going through my head.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment I am going to school as a history major with some music and a couple other random things thrown in. Hoping to find some obscure career that allows me to do better than scrape by while having the time to pursue hobbies.
I work at a daycare with preschool through schoolage children and I'll be honest, I enjoy it. Has its ups and downs, but its a friendly happy environment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Totally missing the most basic and obvious of non verbal cues. Subtle ones ok, obviously ones that even a dog would catch onto I miss.
Fantastic at making little origami boxes.
I am an amateur musician. No, I don't rock out in someone's garage (sigh, if only) no instead I play trombone, jazz and symphonic music generally, and I like to play around with a mandolin in my spare time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am short.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Love movies, can't get enough of them. Only problem is I have so many I enjoy already I have a difficult time finding new ones. Some of my favorites are Moulin Rouge, Pan's Labyrinth, Garden State, Robots, As Good As It Gets. Comedies like Mel Brooks' or National Lampoons stuff are great. I can't get through some movies like Twilight without the help of Rifftrax (admittedly I read the Twilight books and liked em >.>).
As for books I used to be big on reading. Then I mysteriously had less free time in my life at some point. Anyhoo, I used to be a big fantasy fan, but now I just kinda go for historical fiction stuff, a few mysteries, the latest craze sometimes.
Music: Anything that doesn't vex me.
Food: I like a large variety of food. Particularly pastas and stir fry dishes. I mostly try avoiding dishes that are comprised mostly of red meat. I haven't touched things like sushi yet mostly because the word raw just seems so unappealing unless it is a fruit.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A computer, preferably with internet access
A personal sanctuary to go to
My mandolin
My job
My Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
A fizzy drink, anything carbonated.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Universal entropy and somehow acquiring my own tardis, one that works correctly of course. The history of human kind is also fascinating. My latest thoughts revolve around how it seems us modern folk are still stuck with Victorian tinted visors with a few fancy gadgets thrown in.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out for a walk then I typically settle down to watch a movie with a glass of something soul warming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Mmm wouldn't be all that private anymore would it?

You should message me if you like to talk about movies, books, older tv shows, or abstract thoughts. Also it would be nice if someone could give me the question to the answer 42.
