My Self-Summary

I am a friendly, good natured, family oriented guy and would like to find a woman with complimentary traits. I am divorced with no children, but I do hope to have kids someday, whether biological, adopted, etc. If not, so be it.

I enjoy cycling, being outside doing whatever, movies (both at home and at the theater), and being around my nephews and nieces and other family. I used to love draw and paint, but haven't practiced it for a while. Maybe I could draw your portrait!

I have been to the bars enough in my life, and I hope to find someone who feels the same way. I'm not against going out once in while, but my idea of a fun night out would be bowling, dinner and a movie, etc. I love to grill out and have BBQs in the summertime!

What I’m doing with my life

I am a computer tech for a national newspaper group and enjoy working with Apple computers (Mac), primarily. I like my job, but it does keep me away sometimes for one or two weeks at a time. The locations sometimes allow me to explore cool places over the weekends, though.

I’m really good at

Trusting too much. lol I am good at working with and on computers— I'm a Mac guy. I am also a pretty good cook. I get compliments on my grillin' skills and my homemade chili.

My height I suppose. I am about 6'4" tall.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: home improvement books, Harry Potter series, Anne Rice vampire series. I haven't read much lately besides magazines and online news, etc.

Movies: LOTR, Star Wars, Office Space, Zach and Miri, Superbad, Indiana Jones movies, The Godfather, James Bond, cheesy 80's movies, and lots more. I really like watching movies and can usually tell you exact dialog to a lot of them. I know, that can be annoying. lol

Music: I like a lot of different things, but to name some: Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Van Morrison, The Beatles, Radiohead, U2, Led Zeppelin, The Killers, Dave Matthews Band, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac, STP, Red Hot Chili Peppers, some 80's music. On a related note: I can't stand Nickleback- his voice is very irritating!

Food: Anything BBQ, Mexican, Italian, Chinese. Not too picky.

At home watching a movie or at my computer working on one project or another. Or I might be killing Nazis or zombies on the PlayStation if I'm not catching up on housework or laundry if I have let it go during the week. There's a good chance I have. ;-)
