Your Notes
Edit your notesI am unlike anyone, you've ever met, and thats a fact.
My Self-Summary
I'm still you're average guy with good points and bad points and I still think overall I'm a pretty decent guy. I still love living life and I still enjoy a little dash of excitement mixed in with my everyday routine...
Some things that have changed since 2006:
I think I've settled down in many aspects. I find myself less on the go and more looking for my sandy beach with a cool drink on a sunny day.
I've discovered my "center"...if you'd like to call it that. It's difficult to explain but it's a lot like being in the eye of a storm...the storm being everyday life.
I'm a lot less into the party scene or the extreme sports scene these days. I've come to the point where I've already done a lot and seen even more so I've started taking in the less noticed aspects of life...That doesn't mean I sit around all day and watch dust particles float by...I still like adventures...they're just a different brand of adventure now. ;)
I've also come to the point where I'm waiting for that "someone" to experience the rest of life with...that's what seems to be missing from all my adventures these days. I decided not to look for her though...It's kinda like when you lose your keys and look for 5 hours to find them just to realize they were in your pocket the whole time. haha
Aside from that I guess I'm mostly the same as I've always been. I still love meeting new people. I still love experiencing all that life has to offer. I still have all my beliefs and I'm still pretty stubborn when it comes to them...Oh and I'm still Dan. Nice to meet you.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm also thinking a drastic change of scenery is in order. I've pretty much lived in one area for the last 8 years and I'm thinking some where sunny would be nice...maybe Florida...or Cali...Hawaii? What do you think?
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
In real life people seem to notice that I have unique eyes or that I'm constantly smiling about something...not a creepy smile...more like the "I know something you don't know" smiling.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies...Normally I'm HUGE into movies but lately I see one maybe once or twice a week depending on the level of boredum. Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures right??
I love music. I'm the guy with the iPod with 8,000 songs on it by bands you've never heard of...Yea...I'm that guy. ;)
I love food. There's nothing better to finish off an evening or begin the day than good food. Food brings people together, makes people happy and can even ignite romance. I especially love food that I've made.
The six things I could never do without
-5. I could also never live without myself...so I have to rank number 2...I don't know if you know this...but I'm kind of a big deal...to me.
-4. My career comes next at 3...without it I couldn't secure my future, my future spouse's future or my future kids' future...and possibly my future kids' kids' future...yea.
-3. My car. Yup...now comes the material things. I love my car. I waited for years to get it, its my dream car...it ranks at 4 until something more important comes along.
-2. My iPhone. One of the best investments I've EVER made. I've had the first generation iPhone years now. It ranks at 5. I want the new one so bad! But I'll wait.
-1. It sounds silly but...Chocolate. Yes...the drug of the gods. I think chocolate should be on any single person's top 10. I mean come on...it's a substitute for sex! ;) It ranks a 6 for me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about the future a lot. I find that dwelling on the past is nice every once in a while but typically its better to simply leave it be. I mean what can you do about it...it already happened. So instead I think more on the future. I can actually do something about that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday nights are reserved for whatever strikes my fancy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
Now about the no shirt thing...I told you I would explain it. ;)
There's two reason for the no shirt photos.
#1. Marketing. Deny it all you want, people are attracted to skin...it's proven. You see an underware ad, you can't help but glance.
#2. (here's the important part) It tells me about the type of person you might be and helps me sort out who I'd like to talk to vs. who I'd be less inclined to talk to. (ie. I don't much like shallow people)
So if you're under the impression that I just love showing off my body...you should probably think again. haha
But I'll talk to anyone. So message me!
