I recently graduated from college to enter what my parents call 'adulthood' which equates to having a salary, living alone, and waking up before the sun. 5 years for this??? So as a new chapter of my life begins in a new city, I find myself exploring new avenues for friendship and romance. I enjoy all walks of life and am always down for a non-fat Chai latte chat (yes, I am practicing my yuppie) or a simple message.

I work for General Mills as a techno-winnie (official title much less interesting). Basically, when Betty Crocker gets chocolate frosting all up in her computer's CDrom.. I fix it.

I used to read books like 1984 about totalitarian governments during the Bush administration. Now I'm into David Sedaris, Richard Dawkins, and any biography of a comedian.

The only TV I get is via over-the-air. So the big four networks plus loads of Christian broadcasting. (Did you know the Earth was formed in 6 days? Amazing.) However, I have the Internet so Project Runway, Glee, and 30 Rock are staples.

As for movies my previous roommate would categorize me as a feel-good movie guy: Bridget Jones, Babe, Matilda. I also dig sci-fi, documentaries, and mumblecores.

I'm starting to develop a music library I can take pride in. The current and LastFM introduce me to a lot of new artist. I am currently listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, Matt & Kim, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, MGMT, Passion Pit, Modest Mouse, Cloud Cult....

And I'm in love with Ira Glass.

I am constantly planning arguments defending my opinions and playing them out with various people in my spare time. In one I make Glenn Beck cry. But when it comes to use this rehearsed arguments... I get stage fright.

I am a social creature on the weekends. I like to be active and out of the house. This usually involves some sort of night life activity like bars, dancing, or a movie night. During the day I love to be outside. Reading or fiddling with my camera at a park is common.

Most of my life is an open book once you get to know me... However, I need to trust you first.
