My self-summary
I am pretty horrible at writing about myself.

I have observed that the way people go about meeting new people is very similar to the way they get into a pool. I usually rip my clothes off run at top speed and fling myself in, swearing the whole time.

This is going to sound incredibly narcissistic buuuut ... I am a smart, successful, reasonably handsome, nice dude. Once I number you among my true friends I am intensely loyal. I am lucky to have some amazing people in my life. I am romantic and goofy. I like to think the world can still be a magical place. Sometimes, I can be childlike and naive. However, when I have to act like an adult, I do. I like to have intense conversations about very personal things or political things. I am honest. I am easy going. I like meeting new people and I'm a pretty good conversationalist.

I am originally from RI. My family lives there, and I visit them a lot. I used to live in NYC but I moved to Southern CT. I love the outdoors, mountain biking, video games and music. I generally enjoy life for the most part and I try to make it as fun and interesting as possible. I like to think I'm crafty and I like fun artsy projects and going on adventures.

I'm looking for someone who has some life experience, who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Who has thought about what they want and has a pretty good idea about what that is.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am looking for a new job in Providence or the Boston area. In the mean time I am designing little pumps.

I enjoy going on long hikes and getting lost in the woods. I like to find the secret hidden places people don't usually go to. It would be cool to find someone else who liked that too.

I busy myself with crafty and nerdy projects. I am hacking my nintendo DS to have every DS and SNES game on it right now. I silk screen t shirts from time to time, and I make LED hula hoops. I'm good at taking ideas and making them real, or just coming up with random ideas. I usually don't follow through on most of my crazy schemes.
I’m really good at
Harmonica, computer programming/building, Math, making people laugh, general McGuyverism. Karaoke. Cartoonish sketches. Writing farcical nonsense. Soldering LED's. Reading people, Photoshop, catching things before they hit the floor. Finding good places to eat.

Coming up with solutions to problems. Sometimes I'm bad at just listening to people's problems. I always try to offer solutions. I am realizing that sometimes people just want you to listen and not try to solve anything.
The first things people usually notice about me
At work people have been calling me Affleck, cause I look like Ben Affleck in Argo. However this was short lived, eventually it morphed into Aflac, and people yell "Aflac!" like the Aflac duck at me when I walk by.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Right now I'm reading "A Walk in the Woods." I'm not a big reader but if I get into a book I can't stop. I will admit I have read all of the Harry Potters.

Movies: 5th Element, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bruce Campbell vs Army of Darkness, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Back to the Future (2 was the best I think), Solaris, Rushmore, Scott Pilgrim, Zoolander

Music: I have a very broad taste, M83, Florence and the Machine, Bon Iver, Fun, Black Kids, Foster the People, Naked and Famous, Freelance Whales, Childish Gambino, Weezer, Bon Jovi, Digitalism, Destroyer, Starfucker, Miami Horror, Of Monster's and Men, The National. I'm going to Boston Calling Festival in May.

I usually put my iPod on random in the car and I have a program that randomly searches Spotify music, records it and ads it to my iPod. So I am always finding something new.

Food: I like pretty much everything. Although sometimes I do feel guilty about eating meat, but then I remember bacon. I am slowly teaching myself how to cook.

TV: Fringe, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, The Office, Parks and Rec, Community, Wilfred, It's Always Sunny in Philly, Breaking Bad, True Blood, Battlestar Galactica, Warehouse 13, Eureka. I am a huge fan of anything that has to do with Joss Whedon, especially Buffy.
The six things I could never do without
Music, campfires, Red Wine, the ocean, my bike, my friends

I really appreciate a good hug. I like people who hug like they mean it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going. Where I've been. What I can do in the world. Crazy inventions. And of course, my zombie apocalypse plan.
On a typical Friday night I am
I usually try to go out and get some good food. One of my favorite things to do is to eat some good food at a good restaurant and have some good conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sleepwalk from time to time.
