Where to begin?

I am a movie addict, I absolutely love kicking back and watching a movie, especially in the theater. I have a weird thing for pirates (although to be fair, I've had a weird thing for pirates for YEARS), and a healthy fear of clowns.

I used to live in a house that was haunted, and have recently moved to Seattle. Not because of the ghosts, but because of work.

I seem to be a magnet for the strange and unusual, and I'm okay with that. Screw variety, strange and unusual is the real spice of life.

I'm cursed with a fair amount of self assurance, sarcasm, and a dry sense of humor. This can lead some to think I'm a bit of an asshole, but in reality I'm a pretty decent guy.

I also like pie.

I currently work doing tech support for a great video game company, but I also write and draw my own comics, as well as write screenplays, novels, and other things in my spare time.

I try to stay busy.

Being awesome, really. And cute. Smart, too.

I'm also really, really good at being modest.

I'm actually a fairly decent writer/editor. And I do okay for myself at rock climbing and ultimate frisbee. I excel at smart-assery and sarcasm.

You know, I've never asked. I would assume they are dazzled by my amazing awesomeness (yay, alliteration), but that could also be the occasional bit of sun peeking through the clouds.

Books: Most anything by Hunter S. Thompson and Chuck Palahniuk. Also, the works of Alan Moore, Brian Bendis, David Mack, and Warren Ellis. All time favorite novels are Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis, Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, The Hitch Hiker's Guide series by Douglas Adams, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. Also, just read "John Dies at the End", and cannot recommend it highly enough. Great book.

Movies: Here's an abbreviated list, because I feel like changing things up: Chasing Amy, Battle Royale, Old Boy, Thank You for Smoking, Coraline, Fight Club, Swimming With Sharks, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Predator, Office Space, The Goonies, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, True Romance, (500) Days of Summer, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Primal Fear, Resevoir Dogs, Snatch, Nightmare Before Christmas, Jaws, Alien, Tombstone, Serenity.

Music: Most any kind of alternative rock, some metal and/or hard rock, as well as some rap. I've recently developed a strange affection for 80s hair metal. Yeah, I don't know what that's about either. Also, Johnny Cash.

Food: Pizza, chicken, beer. (not necessarily in that order)

TV: (Just for a laugh) Lost, 30 Rock, Alias, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Heroes. I don't actually watch a lot of TV anymore, although I try to catch the good stuff on DVD.

Friends, family, beer, internet, movies, football

To be honest, most of my time is spent working out story ideas for movies, short stories, comics, and novels.

However, I do spend a lot of time thinking about other things. What other things, you ask? Well, you'll have to find out, won't you?

Writing, drawing, or drinking. Sometimes a combination of two or more of these things.

Something you'll have to ask me about. I can't give it all away for free, now can I? Where's the mystique, y'know?

You value intelligence, and a quirky sense of humor. Also, if you can bring the awesome, that's even better.

Also, if any of the above made you smile even a little. I'm even better in person!

Hell, even if you just want someone fun to drink with, I'm up for that too. I love meeting new people and seeing where the day takes you. Life's short, have as much fun as you can.
