My self-summary
Just a city boy born and raised in south citrus heights.... Maaaaaybe Journey was right to put Detroit instead. I'm a really easy going, over sarcastic witty guy. I love to swim, hike, play guitar, make fun of B rated movies, and watch the 49ers win (even when they weren't winning). A friend of mine just got me into hockey and the Sharks are my team to watch.
What I’m doing with my life
For the last year or so, I have gained a passion for endurace swimming and have just recently swam Alcatraz. In fact, I'm training for another alcatraz swim in june. I'm always looking for a swim partner to keep pace ;)
I’m really good at
Playing guitar, providing high fives on support basis, Mario cart (bring it) and I love to draw/sketch
The first things people usually notice about me
My ability to forecast weather before everyone else.... I guess I could have just said my height.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Nineteen Eighty-Four is hands down my favorite book. The Dark Tower series is pretty cool though I'm only three books deep. I like listening to audio books when I'm sketcking on my computer or cooking.

Movies: I enjoy a well crafted movie. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a personal favorite. Clint Eastwood can direct a pretty solid movie; Million Dollar Baby was excellent. I absolutely loath anything Michael Bay touches. Donnie Darko is the worst 'movie' I've ever seen. Christopher Nolan is a genius and Ben Affleck is a way better director than an actor. Step Brothers is my favorite stupid-comedy.

Music: I used to listen to a lot of prog metal when I was younger but not so much as of late. I've been listening to a hefty amount of acoustic indie stuff. Currently, I can't get enough of the Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons. Glen Hansard is an amazing performer; I wish it didn't cost so much to see him play in front of other bands I couldn't care less about. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is an amazing album. Vivalid's Four Seasons is life changing when seen perfomed, in fact I encourage everyone to see classical music live. Honestly, I'll listen to just about anything.
The six things I could never do without
-Google - because how else am I going to learn that lizards communicate by doing push ups.
-Earplugs for swimming.
-Goggles for the former.
-Critical thinking. It's handy!
-A Guitar
-Goals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I daydream a lot. I could stay up all night thinking about random nonsense if I don't watch netflix or put music on.
On a typical Friday night I am
At the moment: working.
But when I'm not, as long as I can find an ice cold shock top, my night can go from batting cages, to sushi, to buzzed bowling, to random guitar playing beer drinking sessions. Or that could be a single Friday night.
