Derp derp summary summary

I like going on adventures, being outdoors whenever possible, tricking people with sarcasm, immersing myself in underground cultures, eating good fewd, reading books before seeing their movies, hanging out with my two cats, and generally being a nerd.

ISTJ/INTJ if you're into that
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
BORING DETAILS: I graduated from UT in December '12 and have been figuring things out since then. My degree is in anthropology, and while I love it, it's not an easy field to get jobs in, so I've been figuring out my options and seeing what sticks. I worked a lame sales job for about a year and am now doing online marketing and web content creation from home for my parents' various businesses until something more glamorous comes along.

That's out of the way now. Let's not talk about work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering completely useless information. Wanna know all the winners of some random reality show I've watched? Wanna hear unnecessary details about Harry Potter? Wanna quote stupid movies with me? I've gotcha covered.

Carving pumpkins. No, but really. It's my thing.

Sending snail mail. Singlehandedly keeping the postal service alive over here.

Driving with my knees. Oops?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height. A possible title for any future autobiography could definitely be: "Yes, I Know I'm Tall, and No, I Didn't Play Basketball in High School."

(For the record, I played tennis.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books (authors): JK Rowling, Chuck Palahniuk, Ian McEwan, Michael Crichton, Steven King, J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, Clive Barker, Deborah Harkness, Fannie Flagg
I also read a lot of autobiographies.

Movies (This section could get a little out of hand, but I'll jot down whatever immediately comes to mind. I like everything from indie dramas to rom coms to cartoons...pretty easy to please.): Drive, Cast Away, A League of Their Own, Million Dollar Baby, Big, To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, The Runaways, Whip It, The King's Speech, Toy Story, Kill Bill, Dallas Buyers Club, Up in the Air, The Reader, The Parent Trap, Gladiator, Harry Potter series, The Hobbit

TV Shows: Parks and Recreation, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Orange Is the New Black, Archer, Bob's Burgers, RuPaul's Drag Race, Downton Abbey, SNL, Weeds, Orphan Black, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, The Vampire Diaries, Breaking Bad

Music: We're probably not going to listen to the same music, tbh. I'm primarily a fan of old school female pop artists (Madonna is queen) mixed with some classic rock for my personal listening, but I'm not too picky overall. I also love movie scores (I currently have 1741 tracks in my iTunes library).

Food: What's not to love about food in Austin? I'm admittedly not the most adventurous eater in the world, but I can find something I'm down for at just about any restaurant.

Other things: theme parks, kayaking, zoos and animal rescue shelters, drag shows/gay culture, LEGOs, old school video games, collecting things, writing letters, board games/party games, roller derby/roller skating, exploring new parts of a city, digging around used book and movie stores, and more!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Isn't everyone's answer to this "it depends"?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I still probably read more young adult fiction than anything else.

Really only interested in people in Austin as I'd like to actually meet, not just exchange messages. No offense, out-of-towners!
