I am passionate, intense, and way too sarcastic.
My Self-Summary
I am a complete adrenaline-addicted tree-hugging
dirt-worshipper.
Being inside and having to wear shoes are worse than torture.
I live for adrenaline rushes,
climbing,
trekking!, being outside, reading,
gardening,
taking
things apart, figuring things out, and digging up lost
information.
The ideal way to destress after a long day is, to me, settling down
with a book and indulging in my secret love- crime shows. NCIS,
CSI,
Bones, In Plain
Sight, The Mentalist, all of them.
I tend to get lost in my head a lot. I have
ADHD and I'm an
Aquarius, so my thoughts are constantly
going in a million directions, unless I'm super focused on
something.
If I had to pin down my "type", it'd be outdoorsy guys! I love
being outside, doing spontaneous things, and having adventures. If
you can make me laugh or smile, you'll have my heart in your
pocket.
Oh.
And you must love dogs. ;-)
What I’m doing with my life
Full time student at an all-women college in Milwaukee (hence this
site- I never meet guys!) studying Global Studies (Middle East) and
Environmental Science (Forestry & Marine Ecology), with a minor
in people watching and napping.
I also work as a pharmacy tech and wage slave at America's most
trusted retail corporate-giant pharmacy, and just finished an
internship in forestry (trees! it was love at first dbh
measurement. if you got that, you're probably the guy for me
haha)
My future is wide open, with my only concrete goals being
happiness, knowledge, and travel. And saving the world.
I’m really good at
Being up for an adventure, being comic relief, freaking out over
nothing, giving directions, getting lost in daydreams, abusing the
snooze button, hugs, making lists, and figuring things out.
I'm really bad at:
Making sense, de-stressing, paying attention to things that bore
me, getting things done without procrastination, and remembering
the mundane tasks of daily life. What can I say, I'm an Aquarius.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile :-D Or my most recent injury :-P
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hmm. Such a question.
Without a doubt, I am addicted to those sappy paperback romance
novels next to the cash register at the grocery store. Also love
non-fiction of all kinds, as well as books that are suspense
thrillers, along the lines of The Da Vinci Code, though I'm not a
Dan Brown fan. And magazines. I love magazines.
I don't have the attention span necessary for movies unless they're
really interesting. Love: Angels and Demons!!!, Rear Window, Harold
and Kumar, Michael Moore mockumentaries, cheesy Lifetime movies,
The Day After Tomorrow, Ocean's 11, To Catch a Thief, Free Willy,
Fern Gully, The Hunt for Red October, Forest Gump, U-571, all sorts
of random movies. Artsy films are completely lost on my scientific
brain, and chances are high I'll either daydream or start reading a
book if confronted with one.
Music is wide open. Country, classic, rap, reggae, rock and roll,
80s bands, 90s alternative, baroque, blues, all of it really. I
don't love any one particular genre, and I hate some music, but my
faves cover quite a bit of territory.
Ice cream, watermelon, carrots, corn, and pizza are my favorite
foods, and I'm usually stuck in a rut because I lack ambition in
the kitchen. I'm a vegetarian, and I don't care if other people eat
meat, unless it's a three-meal-a-day habit or they try to get me to
eat meat.
The six things I could never do without
Technology, my library card, knowledge, family, a day-planner and
plants
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science type
things,
sarcastic remarks, crazy things I want
to do, ruminating on past mistakes, escape. The usual.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually climbing or working!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I hugged a tree and I liked it. :-P
You should message me if
You're interested in anything above, if you're not just looking for
sex (only in committed relationships, sorry guys :P), and you can
handle a girl with a brain and a smart mouth.
