My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a cat in a robot human suit. I am trying to learn what humans know about love.

I'm a nerd, for business and pleasure. I try to convince others that I'm not a nerd by working out regularly and resisting my introversion. But I do love video games, science fact and fiction, comic con, programming games, the works. Non-geek interests include discovering trendy spots for food and drinks, traveling, and having fun on the water.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
IT consulting. I went independent recently, and it's been both a scary and rewarding experience.

I work out at home because it's easier to stay honest that way. Also, I'm currently renovating my condo so I can rent it out and live more flexibly.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating. I'm at my best when there is barely enough time. Also Mario Kart. You will not win (unless you can convince me to let you).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not extremely tall. Some women find this offensive. Also, I'm pretty easy to talk to.

Young Neil would say, "This is a pretty big question."

Books: A Brief History of Time and The Grand Design. Ender's Game, and the Speaker Series. Along with the Shadow series.

Movies: Scott Pilgrim, Your Highness, Zombieland, Oblivion, Pacific Rim, Edge of Tomorrow. Uh, Fifth Element, Boondock Saints... this could go on for a while. Also the newer, dark, adult oriented comic films. Under the Red Hood. Assault on Arkham. I'm also a sucker for most animated movies.

Shows: I don't own cable, and I don't really watch a lot of TV, but I do like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Archer, Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, Venture Brothers, and True Detective.

Food: Mostly anything. I love to explore food and try new things. I avoid fast food, until it's the very last option.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My home gym. Whole Foods. My laptop. Delicious coffee. GPS + The Collective Knowledge of All Mankind... in my pocket.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The new reactionless drive NASA has been testing. The ideal solution to common problems. Stuff I want to program. How to save the day if my office was invaded by mercinaries.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In with friends, out with friends. Sometimes out of town with friends. Sometimes home, by myself, Netflixing or working on a game I will never finish.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love to travel, but I'm terrified of flying. I negotiate this conflict with those adorable little liquor bottles they have on planes.
