I am bippity, boppity, and boo.
My Self-Summary
I was born in Poland and moved to California when I was three. I've
always lived in the Bay Area, but really love SoCal and the East
Coast (although, despite my earlier aspirations, I don't think I
could live there). I like sports - the Sharks are my current
obsession (and I turn into the biggest sports nerd during the
Olympics!), music, photography, reading, and traveling. I love
doing stuff outdoors, especially when it's sunny - but I am just as
happy relaxing at home, watching a good movie or playing guitar.
:-)
One of my biggest passions is music - playing, listening, searching
for new bands - the whole 9 yards! My taste in music is totally
random - I love everything from rap to pop to country to
alternative and rock. As long as I can sing to it, it’s on my
iPod!
I work at a financial consulting company, which has turned into a
very *interesting* job in the last few months. But, on the
weekends, I try to make up for the hectic 9-5 by going out with
friends, running around the city, checking out concerts, going for
a walk on the beach (even when its freezing cold!), hanging out at
a bar or club, or do a low-key movie or ice skating night --
honestly, I'm usually down for anything...
What I’m doing with my life
hmmmm.... professionally, as I mentioned, I work at a financial
consulting company. Personally, I am working on my acoustic guitar
skills, hanging out with family and friends, and... well... seeing
what life is all about!
I’m really good at
Making people laugh! ...or so I've been told. Also... planning
events! haha... that's actually the first thing that popped into
mind. Whenever there's a big occasion, no matter which of my
friends initiates an idea, I always end up taking the reigns (not
necessarily by choice either) to make sure everything gets planned
out, yelping/googling options, and making sure no one is left out.
I guess I like having a good time, and making sure my friends have
a good time too... even if it causes me a little bit of stress.
The first things people usually notice about me
my blue eyes...? ....you tell me! ;-)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I switch between novels (girlie-girl books, dramas, etc,
etc), mysteries (John Grisham, etc), action, and "learnin'"-type
books (I totally dig body language books! haha). After reading the
Twilight saga, I read The Time Traveler's Wife and I CAN'T WAIT to
see what Holllywood does with the BEST book I've read so far.
Movies: Comedy, Romantic Comedy, Action - pretty much anything
EXCEPT horror films (I'm a little girl and get nightmares, what can
I say? haha). Some of my favorites are: Memento, The Hangover,
Office Space, Zoolander...
Music: (gotta consult the iTunes library): Alicia Keys,
All-American Rejects, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood,
Christina Aguilera, Colbie Caillat, Daughtry, David Cook, Eoin
Harrington, Fort Minor, The Fray, Gavin DeGraw, Jack Johnson, James
Morrison, John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Kate Nash,
Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall, Lily Allen, Linkin Park, Marc
Broussard, Mariah, Marie Digby, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Paddy Casey,
Paolo Nutini, Pink, Rihanna, Sara Bareilles, Taylor Swift, Toby
Lightman, Tyler Hilton, Vampire Weekend...
Food: mmmm... Mexican, Mediterranean, regular 'ol American... this
is making me hungry...
The six things I could never do without
Well... the three things I never leave home without are my phone,
camera, and iPod. They keep me busy when I'm bored, entertain me
when I need, and help me capture the moments in between (I'm
usually the designated photographer).
If I had to make a list of things I couldn't live without...
1. friends/family
2. phone
3. iPod
4. camera
5. the internet (what did I do before Google, seriously?)
6. SLEEP!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what I'm ganna do next....!
On a typical Friday night I am
...usually out with friends. Or, if I am feeling anti-social, at
home with my guitar, a good book, or a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
hmmmm....
You should message me if
...you want! :-)
