I am insightful, unconventional, and tongue-tied.
My Self-Summary
I'm a warm and modest fellow who is very passionate about music and
spirituality. My friends describe me as somewhat androgynous -
being very nurturing and intuitive. I've traveled around the world
when I was young, and have grown quite a bit in the past few
years.
I say what's on my mind almost too much, and my wild imagination
will often throw people off guard if they aren't on the same track.
I am a huge
people watcher. I love to observe
the facial expressions and mannerisms of the passerby's. One of my
other passions is to write creatively. I have been told that I
should get my poems published.
My spirituality is also very important to me. I am part of a light
workers network that works on shifting energies around the world. I
am very easy going and approachable but my kindness is also a
vulnerability for me.
I've dated enough in the past couple years to know what I want and
I don't want, also I've learned about myself from the people I've
met. I would like to find someone to connect with on that deeper
level.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently taking academic upgrading courses at at BvC . I
haven't been in school since 2001 so I want to brush up on some of
my skills before I move on to post secondary. One of my goals is to
lose weight, so I keep fairly active walking between 20 minutes to
an hour each day. I'm just taking each day at a time towards
success.
I’m really good at
Speaking my mind, solving practical problems, fixing computers,
writing creatively, being a good listener, motivating others,
cooking, playing music, lending insight, making people feel safe.
The first things people usually notice about me
1) my eyes
2) my lips
3) the fact that I'm always smiling
4) my height (6'3")
5) my gut (I'm working on losing that)
6) I'm sometimes shy around unfamiliar people.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'll read anything in the
new age/self healing section,
particularly books written by
Caroline Myss, or Dr. Wayne Dyer.
My favorites probably being Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante
G. or The Heart/Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav.
As for television my favorites channels would be Discovery,
A&E, History, National Geographic, Animal Planet. I'm kind of
like a sponge when it comes to information - love it! I also enjoy
watching true crime, parascience, and psychoanalytical shows such
as Cold Case Files,
First 48, Fringe,
X-files, Outer Limits, and
Millenium.
Some of my favorite bands Include:
Dark Tranquillity,
Dream Theater,
Matthew Good
Band, Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Rise Against, In Flames, Arch
Enemy, Chimaira, Killswitch Engage, Our Lady Peace, Treble Charger,
Devildriver, Tragically Hip, Cold, Soulfly, Staind, Glassjaw, Tool,
Deftones, and Rush.
My favorite meal would have to be pasta - I love a homemade tomato
sauce with with plenty of wine. I also love my dairy (milk, cheese,
yogurt etc) although my stomach and bowels probably wouldn't agree.
I love trying new ethnic restaurants, my favorite would have to be
Middle Eastern and South East Asian.
The six things I could never do without
(i really do value the simple things)
1. my comfy bed
2. hot showers in the morning
3. my nalgene water bottle
4. my endless supply of chewing gum
5. family (mom and jeff)
6. spirituality/higher connection with myself
7. (i cheated :P) a good internet connection
I spend a lot of time thinking about
analyzing the psychology of our society. wondering about what the
person across from me is thinking. dreaming about finding true
love.
On a typical Friday night I am
best guess is i'm probably at the gym. later on i'm usually posting
between here and facebook or fragging it out on
team fortress 2. i also
enjoy being a wannabe pilot playing
flight simulator x.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't really hide a lot about myself. You'll hear it all if its
good or bad. I was born without a filter on my mouth so I tend to
just blurt out what ever I'm thinking. Hey, I'm honest!
You should message me if
You don't fit into the category of what is standard in our society.
You consider yourself nerdy/weird/eccentric; living outside of the
"box" that you were placed in with all of the so-called "normal"
people. You're friendly, open minded and looking to chat. Don't be
scared, I don't bite.. hard anyway *chomp* ;)
