Hi, I'm Ben.

I'm a creative guy with a strong passion for art. My life currently centers around my career; not because it's a career, but because it's what I love to do: animate. (for more details, check out the "What I'm doing with my life" section)

Compatibility-wise, I tend to hit it off more with a girl who's similar to me. "Opposites attract" doesn't apply to me. However, if you're just looking for friends, then I tend to get along with people who contrast my personality.

I'm originally from Connecticut. I moved to Portland in October (2012). Portland is a freakin cool city.

I feel fortunate to have steady enough work to be completely independent. I also produce electronic music on the side.

My friend and I are planning to start a small animation business in the next few years. We're beginning to set things in motion.

I used to think about the big questions. I still do, but now I mostly listen to what the present moment and what it's telling me; letting things go, learning not to worry, all that jazz.

I'm always thinking of new ideas for animations and illustrations.

It's a toss-up. I could be out drinking or I could be at home relaxing. Depends on my mood.

I'm a sensitive guy. I tear up during movies. T_T

you don't need a motorized trolley to carry your emotional baggage. I get that loneliness is rough, but if you think I will solve all your problems, I doubt we're compatible. I'd recommend a psychiatrist instead.
