I majored in Fine Arts in college, paint on a regular basis, as
well as a multitude of other artsy things from my current
jewelry devotion. I used to
work as a Visual Merchandiser at Pebble Beach, which was a great
job, and nearly got ran over by Kevin Costner in a golf cart
twice!
I have a wonderful urban family here in San Francisco that consists
of my sisters, their SO's and a few other close friends. I can
count on being somewhere with them on the weekend and having a
great time, whether it's bowling, wine tasting, dancing or doing
bad karaoke. My blood family is half
Italian, half Deep Southern, all
eccentric but completely lovable.
I read a lot of books - from Bridget Jones' Diary to
World War Z, with an
occasional biography and Jane Austen novel in between. I'm addicted
to Project Runway, loved the new
Battlestar Galactica, and
really like good cowboy movies (Unforgiven, The Good Bad and the
Ugly, most recently - Appaloosa) never mind schlocky movies such as
Flash Gordon
and Night of the Comet.
I like playing
pool,
I appreciate good Belgian beer and like to try new things
constantly.. keeps life from being mundane and boring! I recently
tried tabletop shuffle board a bar in the mission and it was a lot
of fun!
I'm not so into dating someone in an "open" relationship. I have
friends who are polyamory, I get it, but due to my nature, it
doesn't work for me. I am far too Italian to share my SO.
Currently I'm working on a small jewelry business. It eats up a lot
of time, but I throughly enjoy it. It doesn't feel right if I'm not
making something with my hands, and I've been itching to build an
entertainment center for myself, I just have no easy access to a
table saw or the space to assemble, sand and stain it.
I started taking yoga four months ago and I find it surprising that
I'm still stretchy, but completely and utterly thrilled that I can
hold the poses..
Being way too honest sometimes.. and other times, I'm a bit
dense.
Cooking. I love to
cook. Love even more to cook for more than just me and the furry
terrorists currently residing in my home.
Painting. Knowing when someone's upset.
What I'm bad at:
Hiding my feelings
Getting up early
Going to bed on time
Running (bad knees!))
Shopping
My eyes. I always get comments about my eyes. They're hazel, I know
they change with the light and my moods (my sister claims they turn
gold when I get mad, but I don't believe her, or the others!)

Food: I hate raw onions. Peppers=Yuck. No anchovies on anything,
ever, for me, thank you.
Art. Things I want to make, wish I had the space to make.
Usually in yoga, getting all zen and not having my thoughts race a
mile a minute.
I broke a vertebrae in my back when I was 24. I was taken out of
action by a mannequin - not riding any of the family horses or
playing sports or a car accident - a mannequin.
Hard to live up to being a tomboy when a great big Barbie takes you
out.
You're a nice guy with a rebellious streak or tattoos, or if you're
funny.
Sarcasm, intelligence, an affection for pop culture references and
science fiction with an adventurous nature type geeks who aren't
quite like everyone else just rock my world.
If Blade Runner's your favorite movie, then you are the guy for me!
