I enjoy conversation in general and just getting to know people.
Coming from a Native Hawaiian/Western hybrid cultural context, I
view the world somewhat differently than most people I've met in
the continental United States. Those experiences lead to a more
friendly nature such as hugging or kissing cheeks with friends and
family instead of shaking hands. While I work hard and do my best
to do well in life, when it comes down to it I really live for
human interaction. Whether it be hanging out with friends, going
partying (rarely do that), talking over coffee, or just eating with
someone, I am people oriented. Over time I've had a wide range of
experiences to Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps in high school
(it was required), intensive physical education (also required),
home construction work, computer maintanence, fishing by a coral
reef, traveling to Europe, and playing the violin (9 years) among
other things. I tend to be sarcastic and try to be witty - and in
the end just like having fun - in which context I just mean
enjoying experiences new and old with good company to share it
with.

"verbal sparring" and language in general. in the wider spectrum of
things, i have many differing skills ranging from cashiering to
troubleshooting pc & mac computers to playing violin (decent
though i wouldn't say great) to dancing hula (or so i'm told) to
name a few. in general i'm good at being responsible and getting
things done.
