With God everything is possible.
My friend shared with me that her only full sister was in a horrendous accident in January, one that affected her memory and speech, and left her on a walker @ 58
years of age. She was lucky. Killed in the same accident were my friend's sister's fiance, her sister's son, and her sister's grandson. The family has no money to pay doctor's bills, and there is no insurance. As poor as they all are, my friend and her four step-sisters agreed to chip in $2,000 each to help the sister who was in the accident. My friend didn't have the cash to cover her share. She tried desperately over the past few weeks to borrow the money, but her credit wasn't good enough. She had just one choice left. She came to me and asked me if our investment firm could help her sell her only remaining asset--her small retirement account, which would just barely cover the $2,000 that she agreed to send to help her sister. I told her we couldn't do that.
I walked into the other room, wrote out a check for $2,000, returned, quietly sat down next to her and handed it to her as tears came to my eyes. If I never felt it before, I surely did that day... truly how much more blessed it is to give than to receive! I'll still eat tonight without the $2,000, but for my friend, that $2,000 changed her life. I will remember that moment--a very private moment-- as the day of one of my most memorable birthday gifts ever.
I am okay sharing a private part of my life such as this here because if you are reading this, chances are you will never know who I am or who this woman was. This, not unusual moment for me, will, however, tell you a lot about who I am so that you can either move quickly on to next guy, or dig deeper into the Q&As here to learn more about just who I am. You really would have to like stuff like this because my weeks are full of incidents that touch my heart like this.

But, if you love creating meals together in the kitchen, dining by candlelight, wonderful conversations by the fire, dreaming dreams together, and falling asleep in the arms of your lover and best friend, then I might just be your guy. :>
PS One objective that just about everyone on this site has in common: we're all seeking a fabulous romantic relationship--hopefully our last! Love is complicated stuff...finding it, recognizing it when you really have it, hanging on to it. I'd love to find it nearby again, This is a big planet. I'm here because I didn't want to miss meeting you if our paths might not cross through traditional chance means of meeting. I love how you can really get to know a lot of what's inside of someone through these questions. Matching those responses with photos is really fascinating to me and opens up such interesting opportunities. If someone told me that the most absolutely incredible relationship could be found now and that person was living within hours from where I lived and that I could find her on line, would I pursue it? If I'm serious about finding it, then I'd be crazy not to. Maybe farther... Convince me! :>
