I am quiet, strange, and intelligent.
My Self-Summary
I never have liked trying to describe myself, but oh well. I'm not
really a people-person. I'm quiet, and a bit shy at first. I
suppose it's a comfort thing. I'm not an extrovert, and until I'm
comfortable with the people I'm with, it shows.
That said, I consider myself to be fairly intelligent. I'm often
thinking or writing stories. I like watching anime and reading
manga, although I haven't seen/read anything 'new', and my interest
in that does seem to be waning just a bit. I am a self-proclaimed
geek, although I would prefer to stay out of arguments over whether
it's 'Saiyan' or 'Saiya-jin'.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm looking for a job. I went to eastern Washington to
be closer to my daughter, but finding no jobs there I had a family
member bring me back to western Washington. So right now I'm trying
to get back on my feet.
I’m really good at
I'm rather adaptable to pretty much anything. I'm a quick learner,
and I go with the flow. I'm also good at saying random things.
Rubber chickens!
The first things people usually notice about me
People usually notice how quiet I am. I actually tend to startle
people a lot, as they didn't notice I was there at first. I'm an
observer, mostly. But it is always the quiet ones...
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Battle Royale makes the list for books & movies. The Harry
Potter series gets mention for books, as does the Death Note
series. It's manga, so counts as a book. I guess that it would also
fall under 'movies', as it is an anime series, and there are live
action movies based off it. For music, I listen to a lot of anime
music. Very little music in English. For food, sushi is good. And
chocolate. Just not together. (Come on, is there any female who
doesn't like chocolate?)
The six things I could never do without
My laptop. It has a bunch of stories that I wrote on it. Aside from
that, there's few other material possessions I currently own that I
could never do without. I used to be a packrat, but I've tried to
develop a more Spartan existence due to circumstances. I suppose I
should count the books and DVDs I own as two more of the things
that I couldn't live without, but things change.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever is on my mind at the time. I try not to let myself worry
too much about the future, and try not to dwell on the past. I'll
often think about my writing, and future plots.
On a typical Friday night I am
Writing. Or reading. Or in a few rare instances, watching a movie
on my laptop.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Sore wa himitsu desu.

Message me if you want to talk. I don't always have chance to reply
too often, as I access the internet from my local library. Please
take no offense if you message me and I don't reply for a while.
