Like new experiences and getting to know people, though at first I'm a little shy.
Am trying to learn how to surf on a short board.
Am really into outdoor activities, especially when they involve going to the beach.
Have my B.A. from quite possibly the most beautiful university ever. I miss Santa Barbara so much.
Am a typical Southern California girl - relaxed but ambitious, loves to have fun.

I used to work at a free medical / dental clinic. I miss it.
Now in Navy Hospital Corps school. It's cold out here in IL!

listening and helping out, whether it involves talking, shutting up and just being there, or physical labor. I do my best to make sure the people I care about are content.

I'm also good at getting to the point. I don't play games and try to be direct about what I want, since I work hard and efficiently and hate wasting time.

I'm cheerful, smile a lot and am a bit of a flirt when I get comfortable with someone, even when I don't mean to be. I don't take myself too seriously and am always down for an adventure.

Movies: Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, RocknRolla, The Departed, Boondock Saints, Punisher: War Zone, Anchorman, Dodgeball. Mostly action movies and comedies. I'm really not a fan of horror movies though.

My musical tastes are eclectic. I don't like a lot of 80s pop or boy band / girl band music, but I like classical music, hip hop, indie rock, alternative rock, punk rock and the occasional 80's hair rock band. And yes, I like SOME country music, but don't listen to it all the time. Artists I like include Green Day, Gorillaz, Unwritten Law, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, The Stills, The Kooks, Guns n' Roses, The White Stripes, Cold War Kids, Beck, Louis XIV, Against Me! and Rise Against. JOHNNY CASH.

I love hot peppers and spicy food. Must be in my blood. I also really like strawberries, tangerines, peaches and plums. So.. spicy food and fruit. hm.

- the people around me,
- science, especially in relation to the human body,
- the world in general,
- and myself.

Guess I just always want to learn more.

No offense at all to anyone working in the public side of the entertainment industry, but I'm probably not going to be interested in you romantically. It's just a preference derived from living in LA most of my life as well as my private nature; I wouldn't be comfortable being with someone that is seeking a high profile life.

I don't mind if you work a lot. I do too.
