I am adventurous, quirky, and happy.
My Self-Summary
I love to laugh and to try new things. I'm fun, outgoing, quirky,
bubbly, interesting, sometimes shy. I am bisexual -I am attracted
to people, not what sex they are- but right now I'm looking to
explore more relationships with women. I would like to start
relationships of any kind with friendship so if casual/non-attached
sex is high up on your list we may not be compatible.
I've been in a long-term (over 10yr) relationship and have been
single now for just over a year. I'm learning more about myself, my
wants, desires and needs. I want to explore this part of my life
more and grow and learn and know exactly what I want before I try
any long-term primary relationships again.
I believe that it takes less energy and is easier to be happy and
love everyone then to be angry or be worried. Unfortunately I can't
always get away from being worried. I don't entirely know where my
life is going, but I try to enjoy the adventure everyday.
I just recently enrolled in school in a horticulture and I'm loving
it! This is something I've wanted to do for at least the past 5
years. My eventual goals are to continue on into some sort of Urban
horticulture and development/Urban planning program. I also want to
learn more about urban agriculture and sustainability and
herbology.
I like a lot of different things, here are some: reading, knitting,
yoga, bike riding, hiking, rollerblading, comics, gardening,
herbology, camping, rock climbing, cooking, coffee, hanging with
friends, kitchen experiments, sustainable living, I'll try almost
everything once.
Want to know something more? ask me.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying it! :)
Exploring the opportunities, trying new things. having fun.
Changing directions, opening up, learning.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm short. 5'1" to be exact. for some reason everyone wants to
point that out. what? you think I didn't know how tall I was??? It
amuses me :)
Or my smile or my hair or my curves.
I don't know, I'm not peoples. I'm me.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I love to read and read almost everything. I have a horrible
memory for names of books and authors which is odd since books are
one of my 'oldest' loves. If I haven't read it recently you'll have
to tell me the story line for me to know exactly which book you're
talking about (unless I loved it, and then I'll know exactly what
you're talking about!). Currently, I'm reading a lot of school
books, like 'Botany for Gardeners' and in any extra reading time
I'm reading books about communication and relationships.
I'm not reading nearly enough these days! a few of my favorite
authors are Isabelle Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, George R. R.
Martin and Jules Verne and Pablo Neruda.
Music: I listen to everything except rap and country. literally.
Fav music leans towards punk and rock but I'll listen to
everything.
The six things I could never do without
this is a silly question but here's a few things I don't want to
live without (in no particular order) : friends, yarn, books,
gardening, sex, the outdoors, physical touch, trying new things,
hot showers, intentional family, delicious food, comfy beds,
cuddling, tea, my laptop and my kitten.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
....lots and lots of random things
On a typical Friday night I am
lately-studying. and studying. and procrastinating. and thinking.
and listening. and wondering. and searching. and finding
contentment.
and then studying some more ;D
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm not as confidant as I sound.
You should message me if
you want to, you understand people who want new friends, want to
have time for new friends but have very little time. you understand
something about people being in a changing and growing point in
their life (and that this is a positive thing), you understand
something about being bi and poly and you understand that the
labels aren't important-love, laughter, friendship, intentional
family and conscious choice are the important things. you just want
to talk, you want to meet up and do something fun and you're
willing to plan up to 2 or 3 weeks ahead or you don't mind if
meeting up to do something means I have a 2 hour window and would
love to chat, have a cup of coffee or tea and maybe take a walk and
stop thinking about homework for a few minutes!
