My self-summary
I am the most interesting man in the world. I have crashed motorcycles, scaled dangerous cliffs, sailed as fast as the wind, and had some of the best this world has to offer. Dangerous, risk-taking, God-seeking and gentle. And humble ;)

I have been described as "still waters run deep".

I like physical touch.

I do not like the connotation that goes with the "christian" label because I do not fit in that box when it comes to my spirituality.

I grew up on the east coast and for college initially studied trumpet performance in a music conservatory near Chicago.

I am both adventurous and a homebody.

My "big plan" involves buying a piece of land and having some chickens and maybe a goat, a dog and a cat, fruit trees, and a big garden. I like the simple life.

I also want to take a trip around the world.
What I’m doing with my life
Being a Dad. Working at a job I love. Enjoying new hobbies. Learning a lot about myself. Running up mountains. Trying to figure out why so many women on OKC use the phrase, "I am just as comfortable in heels for a night on the town as I am changing the oil in my car" (ok, I made up the part about the oil, but you get the idea).
I’m really good at
Playing music. Being a Dad. Strong leadership with gentleness, consideration, and kindness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have read a lot of books, mostly in the area of psychology and spirituality. I have been challenged as of late by Claudia Blacks "Changing Course", Rob Bells "What We Talk About When We Talk About God", The Way of the Superior Man, etc

Food:
Vegetables, mostly organic
Spicy is good with me!

Music: I am a musician and play several instruments, as do my children. I often play in church settings.

Eclectic taste
Classical, Further, Classic Rock, Funk, Jazz, Swing, Disco, Anything with a good beat, Worship music, Miles Davis, Wynton Marsalis, Alison Kraus, Clifford Brown, Elton John, Newsboys, Neil Young, Mozart, BeeGees, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles

I went to Burning Man last year, that was pretty awesome.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately I have been thinking a lot about my past and how it has made me who I am today. This has not been easy to do, but I sure have grown!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once lightly rear-ended someone on the PCH because I was checking out the beautiful woman in the car next to me. Hehe :) oops
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 43–52
  • Near me
  • For new friends

You do not need to message me initially. Just answer back :)

I long for a deep connection where we are deeply known by one another. We will know one another's stride, our thoughts before they are spoken and as we lie together our breathing will be as one. Alison Krauss sings it best in her song, "When You Say Nothing at All":

"It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark"

We might be compatible if you are: feminine, intelligent, an unconventional thinker, non-consumer, conservationist, an animal lover, a country gal, self-assured, healthy eater, fit, a woman of faith, a lover of the outdoors, a lover of children, vegetarian, music lover, adventure prone, & above all else a God-seeker. Integrity, honesty, faithfulness, and a forgiving attitude goes without saying. I like the polarity that comes from celebrating the difference between the sexes.

I know what I want, do you?? As much as I do know what I want, I also know that God is full of wonderful surprises that come from the most unexpected places!

A tip for women fishing online:

If you want to get someones attention without being the initiator, try visiting their profile visibly more than once. There are a lot of people on here to sort through and more than once someone got my attention by simply showing up multiple times as a visitor. Think about it, even if you were out in public, there are ways for a woman to get a mans attention without saying a word. Same thing here.
