I love to travel, read a good book, play cards, visit with friends, play with my grandchildren, walks in the woods. I prefer mountains to beach's. I prefer spring, summer and fall to winter. I like coffee in the morning, but prefer hot tea at night. I enjoy yard sales, antique shops, consignment and bargain stores. I enjoy cooking, but not every night. I like to eat out in new places. I prefer quiet places to eat, rather than noisy restaurants. These are hard to find and usually more expensive. I love to hear Bro. David, my pastor, preach. He inspires me. I love people of all ages and enjoy friendships with both men and women. I LOVE football and am sad when the season's over. I'm friendly and outgoing, but enjoy being quiet at home or in a crowd. I love my home and enjoy being there doing nothing. I can set in my home and not have a TV or radio on and be content. I like my own thoughts. I talk to God a lot, all day long, and He talks to me. He's my best friend. He loves me, but he 'likes' me too.

I travel stateside and abroad each year. Usually with friends and family. I go on mission trips with my church once or twice a year.

I love my name. I was named after my Father and all of my life that's been the first thing people ask me when I'm introduced to them..."Is your name 'short' for something?" And, then I say, "No, it's long for Ted." I've always had something to talk about to open up a conversation.

The Bible is my favorite book. I've read it all my life. Right now I'm reading through it from Geneses to Revalations.

I am a big reader. I have at least one book going all the time. Sometimes two or three books. Love to read books about real people. My favorite authors right now are Francine Rivers, Frank Peretti and C. S. Lewis. However, I do like to read new authors and will usually read every book an author has written and then move on to another author.

Movies: Will not go to an R rated movie. Just saw 'Soul Surfer' this past Sunday and thought it was very good.

Music: Classic, Jazz, Instrumental, Christian.

I like to have all my colors together in my closet. So I have all my blouses grouped in colors and all my pants grouped in colors...etc.
