My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a mother, a friend, the life of the party, a shoulder to cry on, and a kindergarten teacher extraordinaire!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living each day the best I know how. Working ( a lot), playing (not as much as I should), and counting down the days til summer vacation.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
my job. My students come to me with little or no academic knowledge and leave me knowing how to read and write. Along the way, they make me smile and give me joy. And judging from the way that my son and daughter have turned out, i'm a pretty good mom as well (not that i'm biased or anything!)
The first things people usually notice about me

my smile and my eyes. then they figure out that i'm pretty good company as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books: i'm an unabashed fan of british chick lit (NOT harlequin romances). I also like thrillers and mysteries.
movies: i like romantic comedies - the kind where the nice guy gets the girl in the end.
television: grey's anatomy, private practice, glee, 2 broke girls, etc. can't abide reality tv shows like the real housewives or jersey shore - ugh! they give jersey natives a bad name
food: anything (but not beets or mushrooms). my favorite foods really depend on the season - can't beat a good clam bake or bbq in the summertime or a big bowl of red beans and rice in the winter
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my family, my friends, a good book, music, the beach, the perfect mojito
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how i can become a better teacher, mother, friend, partner
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
recovering from the week, visiting with friends and neighbors, keeping a low profile
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i'm not as confident as i appear to be
