My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So far on this site, I have had no luck, and yet, I continue to try. My name is Amanda. I am often told that I am a very smart, loving, funny, loyal person. I have two of the very best friends in the world, and an amazing son that I love with all my heart. I am slowly trying to find my place in the world, raising my child, working, and doing my best to become more acquainted with God. I am now graduated from college as of May. I am very excited about majoring in management. I am the oldest of five siblings, my father being the youngest of eight. I come from a very large family, and rely on family for everything. I work in a pharmacy, and I absolutely love my job. Kids are my passion, and God permitting, I hope to have at least three... but that is a ways off I think. I believe myself to be a fun, outgoing person who is completely approachable. I recently found out that I have mild dysplasia. For those that don't know what that is, it is a form of precancerous cells in my cervix. It is really easy to get rid of... At least, that's what the doctors tell me. P.S: I'm not really licking the tree. Trees taste gross.

I enjoy many things (and am always willing to try something new). Top of my list is reading because I spend most of my days with my son doing little kid things. I love to camp, and I can shoot a gun (I'm not the best, but I am up there). I think my most favorite holiday is Halloween (if you want to know why, ask). I can cook, and, like my dad, I try to experiment with some things. I prefer sticking with familiar foods, but sometimes I don't mind something different, although, I hate spicy. I own a total of two dresses because I love my jeans. Although recently I have been trying my taste with different clothes. I used to climb trees and run with the boys. I even played football a few times, though I'm no good at it. I am a total tomboy and a complete sweetheart.

I know that this is probably the least likely place that I will find somebody, but I love to talk and listen, so if you're up for an interesting conversation, message me. Please say something more than "hey", though. I hate that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to work quite a bit, and the free time I had left was divided up between cleaning, school, family, friends, and my son. I am planning on (hopefully) becoming a translator for both, Spanish and sign language. I think both languages are beautiful and I love learning.
I also would love to finish my book that I started writing, and to someday publish my song that I wrote. I don't want fame and fortune, just a secure future for my family in case anything ever happens to me.
I'm beginning to see that God is a big part of my life, and I plan to grow in Him and His love. Something in me is finally realizing that He is what I need right now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at annoying people. haha. No, I'm very up-beat and excentric and that tends to grate on people's nerves. I love to talk, and I give great advice because I can read people really well. I also love to listen. If you need a shoulder to cry on and an ear to talk off, I'm your girl.

I can cook, not the best, but I have yet to make anything unedible, but my son eats everything, so he's probably not the greatest judge. I think of myself as a half decent singer. I'm not the worst, but there is always room for improvement. I love to write. Period. I have written over fifty poems... at least, and I'm slowly working on a couple different stories. Again, I can always get better.

I have been known to be able to fix most anything broken; from broken hearts and friendships to broken watches and door knobs. I might just have more tools than most guys on this site. I'm also pretty handy with a sewing machine and needles and thread.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can get pretty loud. Not obnoxious, but annoying. I have been told that I have a very nice smile, and on a good day, great hair. If you get really close to me, my eyes aren't truly brown... but I'm not telling what color they are.

A lot of people notice my son because he is just too darn cute. Haha. If you see me, you can't miss him. He's the real love of my life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books? I think I've read too many to write down here. I love fiction romance and most anything fiction. Vampires, dragons, werewolves, witches, anything.
I don't watch many movies, but I like most things along the lines of fiction. Currently I'm a big fan of the Marvel movies.
My favorite show is The Vampire Diaries. Best. Show. Ever. Period. Although there are three that follow close behind it: The Originals (a spin off of The Vampire Diaries), Star Crossed, and Arrow. And a new one that I enjoy: The Flash.
Music: I love country music. I willingly listen to other stuff, but my love is for country. I'm a big fan of Skillet, Demon Hunter, The Letter Black, Maroon Five, and a couple other non-country bands. I also love Christian music. I am a huge fan of Megan Trainor and Reba McEntire.
Food? Now that's another matter. I'm very picky, but I will try most anything once. Well, I suppose I'm not too picky seeing as how I can't think of anything I won't eat. Some of my favorites are shepard's pie, lasagna, stuffed shells, white chicken chili, and breakfast.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My baby boy
2. My sight
3. My hearing
4. My God
5. My friends
6. My family

Not in that order of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I'm supposed to go in life... I don't know where God is taking me, but I honestly feel like I should be a mother first and foremost. I think that is the most important job a woman could ever have.

I also think about where time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was holding a screaming newborn. Now my little boy is three and a half. Where did it all go?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home because there is nowhere else I would rather be than home with my baby boy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly, I'm not an extremely private person. If someone asks a question, I try to answer it to the best of my knowlege.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I am looking for someone that is willing to chase me. If you are willing to go out of your way to make me feel wanted without spending an arm and a leg on me, then I tend to be interested. I want the flowers and the chocolates and the hugs and kisses. I want to cuddle on a stormy night in front of a good movie, and I want for someone to genuinely care about me and my son. I want to be able to talk to this person without the awkward silences. If you are a funny person and want to try to be my everything (without being perfect), message me.
