I'm just a real person that tries to live a normal life. I try to live drama free, and avoid such situations as much as possible. I love my job and my 2 girls, they are my life, but I'm looking to add more to that. I think I have a good sense of humor, I'm not too uptight, pretty laid back. Love music, will listen to anything live....that's all I can think of right now, I'm not too good at this type of thing, but ask anything and I'll share. :)

Ok the above statements are still true and we can consider that a summary, but it's been brought to my attention that my profile thus far doesn't say much about me sooo here is a second attempt:

I was born in Cali and moved around a lot when I was little, spent from 2-9th grade back in Cali then was dragged off to Oklahoma, (blah!) where I lived up until a year and a half ago when I moved to Lubbock for what had been my dream job for a few years. Yay me!

I am happily divorced, was married for 9yrs and have two beautiful daughters who are now 10 and 7. Don't do the math there, yes we were young, lol.

I am a proud OU fan who reserves the right to like Texas Tech as well, all my okie friends that have a prob w/it can kiss my ass, lol and well they don't really claim me yet here in Texas so I don't get too much grief for my okie ways.

Oh and real quick, I am not a spelling or grammar nazi and don't expect to be criticized for any wrong doing myself, I occasionally abbreviate things like u for you or i don't capitalize my I, so sue me, or don't like me because of it, w/e u choose is fine w/me. That being said I will try to type as I do at work, as I am not ignorant and do know these things.

My last two semesters in college were by far my best, scoring all A's and a B in one and the last one all A's not sure how I did that since by that time I was so burnt out I don't remember cracking a book.

Umm I can be a smart ass, sometimes on accident, most times on purpose. I genuinely do care about people though and I am also nice and helpful.

I have this thing where I don't like to call people...I don't want to interrupt whatever they may be doing just to talk to me.. On the other hand if they call me I will talk w/them for hours if they want.

Well after graduating college I got a promotion at work but that wasn't enough really, I worked for a city and decided to run for office(the office of the job I had been doing for the previous 8yrs) I tied the 20yr incumbent, dead on, not just percentage, vote for vote!!! I mean c'mon how does that really happen...only in my world, lol. So that had to be settled by a drawing of names at the county court house by a county judge. I kid you not our names were written on an envelope and placed into a metal mixing bowl, held up high and he drew my opponents name! So ya, that was fun. I still had my job though so that was cool, my bills could still get paid and I had no fear of being fired after all why would you try to get rid of the one who is doing your work and she didn't have that kind of power anyways, lol. But again, that wasn't good enough, I had two other goals on my short list one was get a big gov't job, because that would be soooo cool and the other was to work for the software company that we used at the city. I had contacts there so I sent in my resume and had a few phone interviews shortly after which led to a job offer. My other goal of the big gov't job, kinda fell into my lap as well, so odd how things happen. The same week I was deciding on my new job offer I received a call from a resume I had submitted almost a year earlier to the Veterans Administration. Lol, as I read over this it all seems so crazy, maybe I've lost you by now, sorry if so, if you're still reading, wow you must be bored. Anyways I took the job w/the software company. It's a blast and I work w/the best people on my team and the company is awesome. It's only up from here baby! Oh ya daily I perform motherly duties as expected without much interruption, always on demand, lol. I guess I'll have this gig for another oh 10yrs or so then who knows. :P

Being a mother. Software usage, problem solving, trivia, wise cracks, random conversation and listening. I can tie a cherry stem in a knot w/my tongue, not sure how useful it is, but none the less. I used to be able to ride my bike w/no hands, I definitely needed the handlebars though.

First response to this box, I'm going to leave it because I like it. But seriously I think of my girls, my future w/them and my job. The idea of going back to school for a masters has always appealed to me and creeps into my head. How much I like flip flops. "What music do I want to hear, ooo can I find anything new??"

chillin' w/my girls at the house, playing wii or watching tv. Sometimes we go out and do exciting things like lurk around Barnes and Nobel until we find something we have to read!

errr idk, if i put it here, it's not private anymore :P I tap my feet to Brittney Spears tunes, I just can't help it. That's as much as this box is getting from me. Really I'm an open book, but those kinds of things are for dynamic conversation not to be posted. :)
