What I’m doing with my life
My days are filled with starting a community health/reproductive justice organization in Chicago and working as a birth and abortion doula. My past life included being a full time activist and being an abortion provider.

Things I like::
live music
weekend brunch
road trips
the smell of autumn
meeting new queers
community healthcare
feminist activism
people watching
office supplies
farmers markets
I’m really good at
writing songs for my fake band
starting zines but never finishing them
having spontaneous dance parties
absorbing culture
pretending I can play my accordion
making mix cd's
laughing at inappropriate times
making lists
The first things people usually notice about me
my hair? my glasses?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
bell hooks, Anne Lamott, Dorothy Allison, Audre Lorde, Dorothy Roberts, Parker Palmer, and any book of non-fiction essays about pretty much any subject.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
If cta bus drivers ever get lonely, the intersection of religion and social justice, accessible healthcare, the intersection of race and class, transformative justice, my next tattoo, Detroit, intentional queer communities, wishing I still had my nintendo gameboy from my childhood because I really want to play old school tetris, if I could ever pull off red lipstick
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting on my porch and drinking wine with my lovely housemates. Assisting with a birth. Or at a dance party. Or finally watching that Netflix documentary that I've had for six weeks. The possibilities are endless really.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm related to Ronald Reagan.
You should message me if
You're a feminist. And you're nice. And you care about making the world a little bit better.
You should probably have at least a little bit of queer in you.
You want to exchange mix cds.
You have salt and pepper hair.
You can kick it and want a new friend.
You're the type of person that gives up your seat on the bus to someone else.
You don't take yourself too seriously.
Or any other reason....let's be friends!
