Born and raised in Melbourne, I am completing my bachelors and when I'm not studying, there's work, badminton and indoor soccer every week.

Like the Pythons, I always look on the bright side of life but I can't whistle that tune! I always wanted to do that song and 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' by Otis Redding but all I end up with is a silly face.

With that said, I'm a guy who just wants to make friends or meet a cool lady that knows how to have fun and generally doesn't take things too seriously or knows when the situation calls for it.

Studying at uni, working and saving up for half-baked plans for traveling. In my spare time I like to take up something new like learning a recipe or programming, get lost in a good novel or tv show, play some video games and spend time with friends.

I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades but I'm just competent at googling solutions to problems. I'm not too shabby at karaoke and drawing. I've been praised as a good driver but I see it as just knowing how to follow directions. I guess I'm really good at lending an ear to someone and being there for them since I haven't made any enemies as far as I know.

Hard to say but I notice that people often think that I'm younger than I actually am.

Books: Song of ice and Fire series (although I have yet to read books 4 and 5), Watership Down, 1984, Brave New World, The Great Gatsby, Lord of the Flies, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, Lolita, Crime and Punishment and The Count of Monte Cristo. The Harry Potter series as well haha.

Movies: Die Hard, The Son (Le Fils), Taxi Driver, Sunset Boulevard, Cool Hand Luke, Inglourious Basterds, The Killer, Police Story, Annie Hall, The Apartment, Seven Samurai and 500 days of Summer. Most of my favourite movies are from the 70s, 90s and 2000s period. 80s for action movies.

Shows: The Shield, The Wire, Friday Night Lights, Freaks and Geeks, Battlestar Galactica, One Piece, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. I like a lot of anime and HBO shows.

music: Sigur Ros, Sufjan Stevens, The Smiths, Prince, the Ramones, Massive Attack, M83, Joy Division, Tool, Mastadon and Nick Drake. I like all sorts of music although I have yet to catch on to the dubstep trend.

Food: Generally italian, vietnamese, chinese, japanese and indian food. Fast food if I feel like I haven't had it in a while.

Sports: MMA, boxing and NBA basketball.

Comedians: Dave Chappelle, Louis Ck, Eddie Izzard, Russell Peters and Patton Oswalt. Not too many female comedians to be honest but I'm of the opinion that female comedic actors are funnier than stand up acts. I do like Maria Bamford though.

Video games: Super Mario Brothers 3, Castlevania, Castlevania SOTN, Final Fantasy 9, Baldur's Gate 2, Diablo 2 and Shadow of the Colossus. Although I try not to get too invested in them, I always return because I basically grew up with them.

-the euphoria reserved for things like game ending buzzer beaters.
-Curiosity about the world or universe.
-The type of food that makes it hurt to imagine right in front of you.
-a sense of adventure, complete with a ring to cast into a volcano.

What things I should know given my age, what did I learn too late, what superpower I would like to have, how to survive a zombie apocalypse, and where did I last leave my keys.

Finishing whatever book, tv show or video game I'm occupied with, doing exercises on codeacademy, exercising at home or out and about on Friday night with friends (usually it's weekends).
