My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Perennial nomad seeks deviant accomplices (all walks, all genders) in rogue adventures.

What's to be expected of ManicMellow? Nothing you wouldn't from another desultory 20-somethings idealist: Raised for the nomadic life (fourteen cities down) I'm currently soaking in Boston while playing the part of radical office rat. My daily toil mostly consists of research (some mix of policy and science) and strategic consulting, punctuated by periods of organizing and advocacy on the road... which is all a fancy way to say that my days are mostly spent fighting the Man and smashing the System. Who knew adulthood would be so fun?

Daily toil aside, I can often be found on a musical Ballmer Peak, whipping up dishes for potlucks, climbing boulders, picking berries, planting plants, DIYing DIYs, and gerundicizing the crap outta words, among other such shenanigans.

Though typically accommodating and affectionate, a few things can trigger fire/brimstone (namely: wanton cruelty, willful ignorance, bigotry of all sorts). Avoid these and we'll get along swimmingly.

Kinsey ~1.5, just so you know.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Toppling the evil corporate empire. Devouring culture and vomiting counterculture. The long and winding tail of twenties depravity. Comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable. Sprinting like it's still day one.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking long, aimless walks.

At various points: the enormous plume of hair erupting from my head. Eye contact that comes and goes in waves of intensity and neglect.

Update: the hair is gone; I'm incognito.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Minimalism.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Silliness: Limits of language and logic, neurobabble and evopsych-blather. Yin and yang, x-wave/nth-world feminism, les jolies filles. Français, 中文.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm largely ignorant of your cultural references.

I randomly yell "FOR THE SHIRE" before some trivial task (toast in toaster, jaywalking, coitus interruptus (not all of these are entirely trivial)) for dramatic effect.

Most of the time, I play better with animals and kids than adults. I'm still not sure if this says more about me or the sleepwalking suits around me.

You know the difference between its/it's, their/they're/there, affect/effect, arc/ark, oral/aural, aloud/allowed, capital/capitol, principle/principal, discreet/discrete, etc/et al, but you're time is spent on better things then correcting grammar.

(You just twitched.

(...again.)

You savor your quiet time, but you're ready at a moment's notice to steal away on some impromptu road trip to Montreal or the mountains.

You're not 100. I have standards.

You feel the world with fierce intensity and act strategically to achieve your vision of it-- but you're not above the silliness of poop jokes and shadow puppets.

(iff you are impossible)
