My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Joe.

I'm the guy you want to hang around with when the SHTF. My BOB is packed. I can fix anything. I'm loyal to a fault. I've been called a jack of all trades. I've only electrocuted myself a few times. I can contribute in conversations about religion, politics, and fishing. Just kidding. I don't know carp about fishing. I enjoy bad puns. When I have a bad day at work I pour myself a fruity rum drink, turn on some Jimmy Buffet, and make cheeseburgers. There is a good chance you will find me strange. And that is what makes me awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am back in Milwaukee again. Not exactly sure what I'm doing yet, starting over again I guess. I'll just keep trying things, eventually I'll get it right. Or maybe I won't. But damnit, I'm going to have fun trying.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Breaking stuff
Fixing things
Cleaning up
Mag changes
Making lists
Finding new uses for things
Driving
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor. Or that I'm doing something kind of nuts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't have a favorite book at the moment, I've been reading a bunch of non-fiction stuff lately. Anything about preserving food, repairing old homes, solar power...

Movies, I enjoy pretty much everything. Zombie movies are always great. I'm looking forward to the next Fast & Furious sequel. If you have a copy of Mel Brooks' History of the World: Part 1 I will bring popcorn and twizzlers to your place so we can watch it.

I don't watch TV except for the news occasionally and the Packers. I loved Firefly. I watch Walking Dead on Netflix whenever a new season comes out.

I love (almost) all genres of music. I can't dance, but that doesn't stop me from trying. If I was to pick a favorite, I would say I like Social Distortion's sound. Kind of rockabilly punk sort of thing.

I like mexican food. A lot.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Caffeine
Pocket knife
Music
Boots
My phone charger
Socks

*I recently lost my pocket knife, and I felt naked for days until I got another one ::UPDATE:: Found lost pocket knife while moving!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to do next. Where the next adventure will take me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working on some project or another, probably something dangerous or questionably legal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Ha! Ask me anything. I've wrecked a snowmobile in June?

If you are interested in off the grid living, organic farming, have a BOB, like kids, and have a good sense of humor I would really love to hear from you. Or any of those. Especially the sense of humor part. That's important.
