My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've just come back to this site after a time away from it (long story). There are some very interesting ladies on here and I'm enjoying reading your write-ups. Judging by what you say, your quality is not in general being matched by the male of the species. Come on guys, step up to the plate.

I have also just come across this very interesting analysis of the average ages that men and women respond to on this site:

Somewhat predictably men seem only interested in 20-22 year-old females, even when they are 50 (I mean...please, guys. Wake up and smell the coffee!). Also unsurprisingly, women start looking for younger guys once they reach their early thirties. And then they stay that way! In general they are not interested in anybody over 40. Good job I didn't pay for this site. I'd want my money back.

Message me. I'm 27, tall, famous, and rich beyond avarice. And unfailingly truthful.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Relishing it, filling it, living it to the full, and every so often screwing it up just a tiny bit.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Plenty of practical things (plumbing, navigating with maps, that kind of stuff) but I'm an arts/culture person overall. I watch a lot of films, read plenty of books, and also exercise frequently. I also touch-type at terrifying speed, although I did graduate from the Winnie-the-Pooh academy of spelling, unfortunately.
The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, and the fact that I'm smiling
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I can't even begin to list these. As an ex-pro musician I cannot live without music (classical, jazz, rock, pop). I tend towards indie films rather than the blockbusters, but I watch plenty of the latter as well. I write books as well as read them...where on earth would I start? And what will we talk about if I list it all here?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sunshine, Air, Water, Warmth, Food, Sex. Not in that order. Being without anything else I can adapt to. I'm easy going to the point of it being a fault.

Music (in general, but especially classical)
My curiosity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
That small house somewhere in the mediterranean that I will eventually have as a little bolt hole.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably at the cinema. Maybe in a bar, laughing. Sometimes just sat at home slightly dazed, wondering how on earth the week went so fast.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm not very good at admitting private things in public. But I'll fess up to them in private. Let's get to that stage and we'll deal with it then.
