My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very inquisitive person. I love learning about things and I particularly like talking to anyone who is passionate about what they do or what they're interested in. You know when you meet someone and find out what they really care about? There's a click and suddenly you find you're in an wonderful place sharing something exciting with someone who talks with passion and sweeps you away to their world where you can experience something amazing. I love making that connection. It probably explains why I'm polyamorous.

I am caring, optimistic, and passionate
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
To earn a living, I lead a technical team. I make it my job to inspire them to be much more than they thought they could be and to do amazing things. I take great pleasure in doing many things that people tell me I can't possibly do. I must be doing something right: I have a fiercely loyal and happy team.

Outside of that, I'm enjoying doing a lot more socialising than I used to. I go to the theatre a lot, have dinner with friends, visit places of natural beauty and generally get out and enjoy life. Although sometimes my eyelids wish I spent a bit more time in bed.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a serious side and a playful side.

I'm serious about my friends - I'm very supportive, helpful and I always have strong arms to make it better. I have a steely determination to make a difference and change things that other people think can't be changed.

I'm also good at being silly and playful. Sometimes it's fun just to escape the world and muck about, laughing with the people you care about.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a little bit shy and quiet when I don't know people. Fortunately, that just makes me a really good listener. And once you get to know me, you'll find out that I'm very friendly and passionate about what I do. I'm also fiercely loyal to the people I love.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love books and movies about connections with people and following your dreams. I love "It's a Wonderful Life" for how George Bailey cares for everyone around him and they pull through for him. I love "Apollo 13" for the incredible vision of the Apollo program, the bravery of true heroes and the collaboration of so many people to pull off an impossible rescue. I love "Lilo & Stitch" for being about the importance of family and accepting people for who they really are.

I've got a broad taste in music. If I want something toe-tapping I might go for Seth Lakeman. If I'm feeling chilled, Jack Johnson. If I'm feeling really chilled something classical like Einaudi. When I want to get things done and want something heavy I might choose Red Hot Chili Peppers, Evanescence or Iron Maiden. And general favourites include Kate Bush, Fisher, Ashley Maher and Tori Amos.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(1) Love & Friendship - without connection with other people I don't really know what the point is. (2) Laughter & Having Fun (3) Touch - I'm a very tactile person; I know I'm connected to people through those little touches or those big hugs. (4) Cheeky Innuendo - If someone asks me for a dessert, I just give them one; sometimes they get ice cream too. (5) Ice Cream (6) Raised eyebrows - see 4 :-)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everyone has their own internal world but we're not really taught how to understand it or access it. It causes all kinds of trouble because there are things inside that you really need and deep feelings you have that can get trapped inside of you. But you can free yourself and start to do the things that really make you happy and see how you can reach out and connect to other people as the person you really are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Aware that it is Friday. Friday's not much different to other nights: I go all all different days of the week; and sometimes I'll stay in cuddled up in front of the TV or working on a project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh no, no, no... you only get the good stuff once you know me well.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to laugh, share your passions in life and maybe end up in some deep conversations - or, more likely, some quite silly conversations. Just tell me what wonderful things you've been doing or, even better, what wonderful things you wish you could do. I'd love to find out what makes you special and unique - you've got nothing to lose and we'll have a fun conversation.
