Currently office-droning and trying to set bigger and better (or at least more fulfilling) things in motion. Basically, I've realized that time flies by, so I'm trying to maintain a chill balance between making a living, bettering myself, following my dreams and enjoying life.

Since the above is fairly abstract, I'll also add that I am translator and interpreter, but work mainly in project management within that field. I also have a background in film, photography and other artsy-fartsy pursuits so I always try to keep a bit of that in my life.

Dorkiness, spacing out, sleeping, and procrastinating.

BUT I also love art (mainly sketching, photography, and engraving), cooking, language, and writing.

I have a big smile, I guess...

And perhaps on OKC, that I have the evil "replies very selectively" red dot. I'm pretty much copying my red dot disclaimer from someone else's profile, but I am often very busy, scatterbrained, and there are many weirdos on here.

Man, it's hard to pick favorites...

Books (and authors): A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (because I've never made it through Ulysses, no shame), 1984, Brave New World, Julio Cortázar, Alan Moore, Stephen Hawking, Walt Whitman, Federico García Lorca, good fantasy novels such as Game of Thrones

Movies: Easier to name directors and genres- Wes Anderson, Jean-Luc Godard, Akira Kurosawa, Hayao Miyazake, Quentin Tarantino, Guillermo del Toro, love a good fantasy or sci-fi movie.

Shows: Battlestar Galactica, Frasier, Twin Peaks, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development

Music: I love all good music, but tend to gravitate towards rock, indie, post-punk, Gustavo Cerati, The Beatles, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Cure, The Smiths, The Zombies, Iron & Wine, Cultura Profetica, Radiohead, She and Him, M. Ward, etc. Also a big fan of Otis Redding, Johnny Cash, Al Green, Eric Satie, motown, salsa, reggae, heavy metal, folk, the list goes on...

Food: Anything that's well made and delicious!
