My friends say that I am a lot like a kitten; highly inquisitive, friendly, cuddly, and I like to purr and be petted. I am very shy though, and find it very difficult to describe myself.
Even though I am only 20 years old, I am really down to earth, and I know, for the most part, what I want to be doing with my life. I already have a career job that I am happy with.
And just to clear the air here, I am a nerd. A big one. I'm smart (so people tell me), play ridiculous amounts of video games, and I both LARP and play tabletop RP games (D&D for instance).
I am very quirky, and most would say I'm not exactly normal. Mind you, none of my friends fall on the normal scale either. ;) (I also have a theory about normalness... message me if you want to hear it). I will be talking about something, and then (it will seem random to the person listening, but there is a reason in my mind) I will go off and talk about something different.
I do have some pet peeves. One of them being continuity errors, like in movies, tv shows, and books. It just....really bugs me when things don't line up when they're supposed to line up. Spelling is another. Now I know that I'm not the best speller around, but I really do try. And it does irk me a bit to see very blatant spelling errors everywhere.
As I said above, I do like art, but not just the visual kind. I quite enjoy all three forms of art; visual, music, and drama. I love to sing, and can pick up songs really quickly even if I've never heard it before, but good luck getting me to sing in front of people. ;) Ever since I graduated high school I have missed drama terribly. It has only been recently that I've discovered that I like being on stage (for the most part), but when I'm offstage too, I'm as happy as a clam. I was my high school's Stage Manager for a couple of years, and I would love to start doing it again on the side. Unfortunately, my work doesn't leave a whole lot of time for much.
Hmm...I’m not sure what else to say, really. It’s hard for me to describe myself, and even more so in this kind of impersonal way. People often tell me that they find it hard to pick up the tone I’m trying to convey in my words, and that they often pick up other tones; hence the reason why I use a lot of smileys. So if you’d like to learn more about me, just message me.
