My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Howdy, I'm just getting back into this...

As of 4th of July weekend I've made my way back to the great state of Texas for a new job. Ive lived in LA for the past 7 years and I miss the cool SoCal weather. However, I'm loving my new job and have finally settled into my new apartamento. Kinda bummed OkCupid users aren't as active here in SA as in SoCal. So not sure what this site will bring in Texas. I'm still keeping the 'mo faith... Dating in LA was a beast...here's hoping the Texas 'mos have the southern gentleman charm that makes for an ideal dating romance.

Ideally I'd like to meet a great down earth caring guy to be a partner with me on my journey and one with whom I would be a partner on his. I'm a social guy always up for a hangout and new friends. I've had some luck on here and some flops on here, but I'm an eternal optimist. :)

I am social, determined, and confident.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from Texas A & M University-Kingsville with my Bachelors of Arts in Communications with a double major in TV/Radio & Journalism. Ideally I'd like to find an opportunity to actually use my degree, however that has not been my career path out here in SoCal... :/ I've been in retail management since graduating college and relocating to Texas for the next step in a corporate retail management opportunity and thoroughly excited about it!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Striking up a convo with just about anyone. I feel as though I'm incredibly approachable, although I've been told I'm intimidating. Which I never know how to interpret. :/

Noticing that your pic was taken in Disneyland. I have frequented Disneyland quite a bit since I've lived in SoCal and I've recently come to the conclusion that I can easily spot when someone on here has pics that were taken in the park. Interpret this as ya will. ;)

Singing. I'm up for a random duet at the drop of a musical hat.

Hosting. I enjoy theme gatherings as well as Holiday festivities. Good food and good booze is always a staple of anything I host, as well as random door prizes. :)

Faking a British accent. As of late I've developed a really good British accent. No really, I've been thinking about looking into voice over work. ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I have a nice smile :)

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Let's acknowledge another online dating sitch, while kinda trivial, it really helps to share some common interests in this section. At least if when I'm reading your profile I come across an obscure show, musical artist, or movie it raises the chances of a message :)
