My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm tired of being a fifth-wheel. I'm an independent person who doesn't mind spending time alone but I would like to do more and have someone to do it with. I like to fly, scuba dive, vacation in interesting places and eat all sorts of food -- but I'd like to do these things with someone else who also enjoys them. I have a diverse group of friends, who are mostly married, and that leaves me being the odd man out in a lot of couples-only situations. I don't necessarily want to get married, but I'm open to the idea. I'd like to have someone to share and enjoy experiencing new things together.

Movies: Airplane!, History of the World, Blues Brothers, Godfather, Amelie, 12 Angry Men, Dogville, Dr. Strangelove, Fight Club, Frida, Gattaca, Memento, Office Space, Requiem for a Dream, Sling Blade, American Beauty, Roger Corman movies, and 70s exploitation movies.

Music: rock, punk and crappy 80's pop music. I hate jazz.

TV: I really miss Monstervision with Joe Bob Briggs, and Firefly, and Wonderfalls, Freaks & Geeks, and B5. For current stuff, I like Boston Legal, BSG, The Office, and for reality TV, and the money honey on Sunday mornings.

Food: Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, Indian, good BBQ, anything not bland. Except Basque food, that gets a pass on the bland rule.
