I've recently quit my terrible office job and am deciding what to
do with myself. I'd like to move in to the arts/charity sector,
preferably related to music in some way. I'm a big fan of live
music; I go to as many gigs and festivals as I can afford. This
year: 2 All Tomorrow's Parties, Glastonbury, one day at Reading
(just to see Radiohead) and countless other gigs. Upcoming: Grizzly
Bear and British Sea Power.
Job hunting, meeting friends for lunch, travelling about at
weekends to see other friends, re-watching Seinfeld, reading books,
going for runs and bike rides.
Oh yes, I DJ at an indie/britpop night on a Tuesday night in the
Purple Turtle.
Wasting time, having fun, wishing I was in a band/acting/writing.
I'm sure there's more, I just don't want to blow my own trumpet.
Music is my radar:

Out at the pub, round a friends, seeing a band, watching a DVD,
reading a book, dancing at an indie club, drinking a cocktail,
surfing the internet...Yes, all in one night.
I find myself getting emotional at silly, cheesy things on TV when
I'm tired. It's embarrasing to think of the amount of times a sad
resolution to an episode of Scrubs has brought a tear to my eye!
You know the answer to the shark vs lion debate. I had a dream
about it recently, the lion was winning but that's mainly because
it was in shallow water at the beach.
Or if you'd like to chat random nonsense. I'm good at that.
If we have similar music tastes!
