I enjoy a stiff glass of
Cabernet Sauvignon while
watching an opera,
running hard through a driving
rainstorm, and losing myself in forgotten, foreign places. Of
course, these simple cliches don't describe me entirely, and nor
can the longest essay; the most inspiring element of my life is
travel--that
is--
becoming
lost deliberately in far flung countries while making my own
discoveries. One shouldn't follow in the footsteps of others while
travelling, and
I apply this principle to my life whenever I can. Essentially this
means that I strive to live by my own rules. I do not always
succeed in this, and often ask for directions, but love charting my
own path. That is why I studied at the UW for four years, lived in
Cairo for my
study abroad
experience (not a cozy, comfotable
European city--all of which I love, by
the way), and am now taking some time to find the true me.
I am truly a man of contradictions, however, as I enjoy burying
myself in the stacks of a large
library and
studying all day, while I also love
heading to the
gym for
a few hours, or simply pondering life while sipping mint tea.
Oftentimes I feel rather wild and want to passionately
kiss my lover in the middle of
a performance, randomly during the day, or over morning coffee.
Perhaps that is what I admire most in a woman--
spontaneity.
I just graduated from the University of Washington and am taking a
year to decide wether I want to attend
Law or Graduate School. In the meantime, I
perpare (not cook) and serve dinner at a Women's shelter downtown.
Volunteerism is a major turn on for me, and anyone who volunteers
becomes instantly sexier.
Surfing,
swimming, and
weight lifting.
Eating
cheese and
drinking good
wine--and sharing it too :)
Having long winded conversations on the Kama Sutra or Middle
Eastern History.
I enjoy dressing well, and think that it's always better to
overdress. While clothes don't make the person, they reveal an
innate facet of your personality to others, and instantly convery
how you feel about yourself, your passions, and sometimes your
dreams. Fashion, then, is a very powerful idication of ones
perception of themselves. At the end of the day "all the world's a
stage.." as shakespeare once wrote.

Exploring new restaurants with friends; attempting to
Salsa; attempting to
cook a new dish.
I have a serious weakness for
chocolate--it actually makes me blush.
You are considering a relationship, are
adventurous and don't mind a
hopeless
romantic.
