My Self-Summary

I just got back from spending 2 years teaching English in France. I love traveling, reading, and having interesting conversations. I love going to concerts, especially classical and opera, but I'm open to lots of different kinds of music. I'm a classically trained singer, but I sound ridiculous doing karaoke. That doesn't mean I still don't like to try! I consider myself to be pretty easygoing. I love making people laugh. I tend to have a very sarcastic sense of humor.

What I’m doing with my life

I have moved back to Norman, Oklahoma to work on my Master's degree in French literature at the University of Oklahoma.

I’m really good at

making music (I sing and play piano) , French, and teaching.

How funny and easygoing I am and that I have a kind face.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm just finishing the Twilight series and I've read every possible Nicolas Sparks book. Since I have to do so much reading for my studies, I like a book that can really take my mind of things.

Movies...I like almost anything, except really violent or gory films. Favorites include Life is Beautiful, You've Got Mail, The Cutting Edge, The Harry Potter movies, While You Were Sleeping, The National Treasure movies, The Da Vinci Code.

Music...I like everything except rap, metal, and really hard rock. Favorite artists include Rascal Flatts, Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, One Republic, Carrie Underwood.

Food...I like anything that I'm not allergic to. I especially love cherries!
