I've been in Washington, DC ten years now but just moved across
town. Lately it seems like Home Depot is my new hangout! Very
excited about putting a garden in as it gets warmer! Just saw
several deer run by and the neighborhood squirrels are eyeing me so
I fear my new veggie plants will become dinner for the
locals!
I'm just as much a homebody as I am an adventurer. It's fun to pick up the Friday Weekend section of the paper and find something to do that I've never done before..... jump in the car with the dog to go exploring, hit a winery, and stop off at roadside stands along the way. I also like to break out the passport and plan longer trips abroad. I've been to most of Europe, Russia, the Far East, Australia, New Zealand and all 50 states. Cooking, coffee and wine are a passion. I enjoy touring wineries and stopping off at coffee shops like Northside Social. Love to shop at Wegman's and Trader Joe's. I also enjoy museums and historical attractions. Love to find someone to share these adventures!

You can drag me to a movie any day of the week. Some of my favorites: Cinema Paradiso, Amelie, Love Actually, Another Earth. Yup, I enjoy chick flicks as much as action adventure and obscure indie flicks.
Sunday's during football season you have to put up with me watching my Green Bay Packers. Hopefully, you will throw on a jersey and join me even if you have issues and are a Bear's fan!
My job is also my hobby. I work in television news and have covered news all over the world. Love the people I work with and it's never boring!
