I am passionate, sensitive, and sarcastic.

My Self-Summary

I'm a 35 y/o single female who loves to read, write and watch lots of trashy TV. I love walking around the city with my ipod, which is loaded with all sorts of embarrassingly cheesy songs. I'm known to get really excited and enthusiastic abotu relatively minor things. I love football (watching, NOT playing!) far more than most females I know.

I’m really good at

Procrastinating. Seriously, I've finely honed it into an art form. I've also been told that I'm a fairly good writer, though please don't take these paragraphs as indicative of my skill ;) I'm generally good at making people laugh and helping them feel good about themselves.

The first things people usually notice about me

I smile widely and often, though I'm too sarcastic to ever be mistaken for the overly 'perky', relentlessly cheerful type!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books, movies, music and food are among my four favorite things in this world, so I can't begin to narrow down my ridiculously long list of favorites.

I will say that my ipod contains a whole lot of awesomely cheesy songs that most people (alas, not me) might be embarrassed to own!

The six things I could never do without

Hope, daydreams, books, my beloved trashy TV shows, my (equally beloved) mom and chocolate.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How we can all narrow that gap between who we are and who we want to be, what's truly important in life and whether I'll veer love another TV show as much as I loved Buffy ;)

On a typical Friday night I am

Wondering where YOU are, of course ;) I may also be at the movies, having drinks and copious amounts of fried appetizers with a couple of friends or just relaxing at home.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm weirdly obsessed with football to a degree that my female friends rarely understand!

You should message me if

...if you're as weary of the bar scene as I am and are genuinely interested in getting to know someone :)
