What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly I just want to enjoy life. I do so in a casual, everyday sort of way, usually. Hobbies, work, family, friends. I'm missing someone special, so here goes.

I have a lot of hobbies; reading, crochet, the occasional SCA outing, catching up on the internet, bicycling, photography, a night out dancing, game night here and there, playing with my cats, and sometimes I bake things. I have a regular dinner night with friends.

I'd like to share all this with someone who appreciates enjoying themselves in a like manner. Let's talk about what interests us. Good conversation over good food sounds like a good idea.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Looking at the world a little bit sideways. Ok, a lot sideways. I really like to extend ideas ad infinitum without, hopefully, being pedantic.
I make stuff to wear, to eat, and really bad jokes; sadly the shortest distance between two puns is a straightline.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My crazy hair, my easy laughter, and a solid willingness to put my foot into my mouth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Stranger in a Strange Land, Use of Weapons, Blade of the Immortal, Fables, Princess Knight, Hyperion, Sewer, Gas, and Electric. Many, many more, too much to list.
As for shows, I have been watching more things lately.Sherlock, Castle, Firefly, The Price of Milk, Black Sheep, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop. I own up to it; I like anime.
Music: wow. I'm not very organized with my likes, but I do listen to a lot of random things. I am listening to Mercan Dede right now, and recently have been listening to Anouar Brahem, David Bowie, Natacha Atlas, Elvis Costello, The Red Elvises, Santana, Buckwheat Zydeco, Jimi Hendrix, Diana Krall, recently have been obsessing over violin concertos, oh Paganini, you darling, Vivaldi you rock my socks, who knew, amiright?
I also manage to hit a museum every now and then, recently saw some Monet and some awesome ancient Greek stuff.
I must warn you Sherlock Holmes is a current obsession right now, so I may go on just a little bit at the slightest provocation.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water/Food. Especially chocolate.
Sadly, an internet connection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
History, the future, science fictional universes, phi and beauty, space, colors, puns, and whether or not I'll ever be an evil overlord.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Online unless my friends drag me out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have history crushes on really inappropriate people. Napoleon, why are you so sexy? Tesla, I know you're a virgin, but daaang.
