I'm a happy papa, social activist, and revolutionary in my own mind. I like to sing and dance but not usually at the same time. I love to cook, especially during the winter when all of those comfort foods seem so appropriate. I'm a pretty laid back person, but I know what I like and won't settle for less unless I can't afford what I like then I will settle for a much cheaper yet only slightly less enjoyable form of whatever it is that I wanted in the first place.

I've always been good at making people at ease which facilitates people talking to me and my listening. Consequently, I'm pretty quiet, but that doesn't mean that I don't have opinions. I have opinions on mostly everything, but I realize those opinions are not always correct and I love to hear novel opinions. I also love to learn about new things. If you can teach me something, I might just fall in love.

I'm enjoying it. I run my own cleaning business and have a relatively flexible schedule. No boss=sanity.

Went to the National Equality March in D.C. a couple weeks ago which makes me very optimistic about gaining full equality for the LGBT community. When 200,000 people show up without much fanfare, that means the message is just and people are fed up with sitting at the back of the bus.

I spend a lot of time with my one year old boy and love every second of it. He hasn't learned how to say no yet and he hasn't figured out that I'm not cool. When those two things happen, I'm screwed.

Cooking, giving massages, getting massages, whistling t.v. theme songs from the 80's, self love, running, playing tennis, dancing with my boy, organizing in the political and practical sense, not interrupting. Knock knock. Who's there? Interrupting cow. Interrupting cow../moooooooo!

It's hard for me to write down my favorites because I would feel so bad if I left anyone out.

Books: I like fantasy, sci-fi and horror a lot. However, I enjoy reading non-fiction about rebellious struggles the mostest. I started reading fiction again last year after a few years away and have eaten them up so voraciously that I feel a little indigestion. Guess I'll have to burp out some movies to feel better.

Movies: Brazil, Delicatessen, Night Watch, Monsters vs. Aliens 3D, True Romance, Let the Right One In,City of Lost Children, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, The Wizard of Oz

Music: The Coup, The Shins, Pixies, David Bowie, The Beatles, Woodie Guthrie, The White Stripes, Blackalicious, Jurassic 5, Otis Redding, Sufjan Stevens, Elliot Smith, Lady Gaga (she was great at the National Equality March http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRNsl_0AZOs), Run-D.M.C., T.V. on the Radio, Talking Heads and most other New Wave music even Duran Duran (especially Duran Duran, shhh.)

Food: Sushi, Halibut, Skate Wing, mostly any seafood, a nice strip steak is good every once in a while, I like making many different salads most starting with red cabbage, whatever I can manage to make from the scraps in my fridge with a little hot sauce

Good political conversation, Belgian style ale, ranitidine, cleaning supplies, Shiraz, Neil Diamond

Kissing my boy good night, watching Dollhouse (thank you Joss) with my roommate , getting some well deserved rest and getting ready for a glorious day off, or going out with friends, usually to the Crystal Corner and then Plan B....told you I like to dance.
