My Self-Summary
I am a friendly, generally happy laid back person who enjoys the
company of friends. I am currently single and have been for around
5 years. I love music and going to concerts, as well as the cinema. I also enjoy pubs
and restaurants, or just staying up late and talking to friends. I
believe in close friendships and would love to have a long term
partner one day. I get on best with younger people.
What I’m doing with my life
I am living in West London in my own place and working in the City
end of London.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at solving logical problems. I don't get too fazed
or panicky about things, and am a good thinker. So friends tend to
come to me a lot for problem solving - both of the mundane variety
and the personal variety!
The first things people usually notice about me
I smile a lot. One friend bought me a Zippy toy (from Rainbow) cos
he reckoned there were similarities. Don't know whether to take
that as a compliment or an insult! :) I can take life seriously
when I need to, but I'm usually a positive person on the outside.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Horror, science fiction, Stephen King, Stephen Fry, Terry
Pratchett
Movies: Again science fiction, horror, drama - nothing too cheesy or cliched.
Music: Absolutely extreme love of music. Mainly of an indie or rock theme and my tastes are probably of a younger nature than I am. But probably most sorts of music except rap, most hip-hop and death metal I can at least appreciate and talk about.
Food: Indian, chinese, italian. Would probably struggle to be an outright vegetarian if I was asked to be!
Movies: Again science fiction, horror, drama - nothing too cheesy or cliched.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music! If I'm not listening to it, I'm thinking about what I'm
going to be listening to, or what CD I want to buy. But mostly I'm
listening. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
At the moment Friday's tend to be a bit of a flake-out night. I
often go out on a Saturday for a full day out with friends, so
Friday night becomes the time to recover from work, put feet on the
sofa, pour a large drink and then find out if something like
Have
I Got News For You or Frasier is on TV.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've been celibate for around 3/4 years now. Not wholly
intentionally - just the way life has gone. I sort of miss sex on
an emotional level - that "being with someone" - but I'm not so
bothered as I'd rather bide my time and find someone nice, than go
off with someone just to notch another one on the bedpost. That
said, I'm not a prude, and I am open-minded. It's a difficult thing
to explain in a small box on a screen.
