Hi there! I never thought I'd be doing anything like this, as everyone who comes to this site says. Who am I? I'm smart, funny and creative--I write (have been published in Newsweek). I'm vice president of a nonprofit board and am currently pursuing a lifelong interest in theater. I'm a widow. For many years I had a thriving interior design business--even taught a six-session seminar on interior design at the Smithsonian (a lot of preparation for that!).

What am I looking for? For one, smarts. And a great sense of humor. I really do like going to the Kennedy Center to watch the ballet (I recently saw Suzanne Farrell's co.) and good theater. I enjoy the company of another on walks and over dinner at a restaurant. And, if it works out, it sure would be nice to have someone to come home to again!
