My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Most of America's problems can be solved with good eye contact and a firm handshake.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Biking my way through all the Green Lanes in Brooklyn, training for a half marathon (or two), enjoying some good personal reading before going back to graduate school in the fall, rocking cheap sunglasses, looking forward to the return of iced coffee season, listening to This American Life and Planet Money podcasts, exploring NY's remaining concert venues, building forts with my niece and nephew.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making omelets, active listening, trying new things at least once, deadlifting, eye contact, passing obscure movie quotes off as my own, remembering birthdays, being confused for Peter Pan (didn't everyone used to have dreams that they could fly?), being a really compassionate friend.
The first things people usually notice about me

I have a special place in my heart for Seymour Glass, and I really can't wait for the three posthumous Salinger books to be released. If pressed to name my three favorite books, I would have to say: Nine Stories, Written on the Body, and Ghost Wars.

My favorite movie of all time is Stand by Me. Other good ones are: Garden State, The Hours, Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, Last of the Mohicans and Angels in America.

I love Ryan Adams, Coldplay, Modest Mouse and discovering good, new music; however, I could listen to Rachmaninoff all day and have a penchant for pop music. Favorite albums of 2011: The Naked and Famous's Passive Me, Aggressive You and Kanye & JayZ's Watch the Throne. 2012: Of Monsters and Men's My Head Is An Animal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Coffee
2) My Fantastic Oxfords
3) The 3 Train
4) Atlas (my bike)
5) Bacon
6) The "Dapper-Q" blog
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The perfect push-up, where to find the best wings in NYC, figuring out the most effective way to escape NYC in the event of the zombie apocalypse (have I mentioned that I try not to take myself too seriously?), how all of the ads that line my web browser are centered around shoes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Finding any excuse to wear my orange skinny jeans, which usually means quality time with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I almost repeated the first grade.
