My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Bleurgh!

No wait!!,
Come back, I'm actually a totally lovely person, ignore everything below and send me a nice message, unless you like the stuff below, in which case send me a nice message.
Oh and unfortunately I don't have the ability to see people who 'like' me, Okcupid does like to tease, if you like me, message me, I pretty much always respond
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
working only as much as I have to, at Waterstones,
dreaming of holidays (just need someone to go with),
making awesome Game of Thrones Dragon Eggs (my current arty project, check out my 2nd album). Update: I've kinda of expanded to prop making in general, mainly Marvel stuff so far

I want to find somebody to explore with and get in adventures, who is also ok with the odd lazy Sunday sofa/tv session
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
drawing,
making tasty sandwiches,
being geeky
being a hugging genius (that sounds weird)
Quoting obscure lines from movies in normal conversation
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
hair probably.
big mop on top, sometimes beard on chin.

I wasn't sure whether to include this,
but it does get remarked a lot that I don't look my age, which is obviously great, not bragging, doesn't help me get dates at all, but there it is...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books:
mostly horror, and daft stuff at the moment, my latest favorites have been John Dies at the End and Nos4r2, I get a lot of free books, so I read quite a bit, also a huuuge comic fan, mostly Marvel, but not just superheroes, all sorts, happy to offer recommends for groovy graphic novels you may not have heard of, message me! Just discovering Neil Gaiman after reading the Ocean at the end of the Lane, so good!! and now reading the Hugh Howey Wool trilogy, which is fantastic, must read.

movies:
love classic Spielberg, Wes Anderson, 70's sci-fi, 80's wonderfulness like Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Fletch, Trading Places, lots more, David Fincher, Coen Brothers, Comic book blockbusters, and everything else, Bill Murray is God obviously

shows:
too many, current faves are Game of Thrones, Community, Arrow, agents of shield, rewatching parks and rec and Buffy, lots more...

Music:
I like rock and 90's indie mostly, and all the 60's classics obviously, big Bob Dylan fan, love his lyrics, also catchy tunes used on ads that i'd never heard of before.
I used to go to gigs and festivals all the time, but my friends stopped going which meant I did too, so it'd be cool to find someone to introduce me to new bands, and who also likes to sing along to cheesy 80's/90's stuff

food:
on a slight bit of a diet thingy at the moment, not a fad one, just trying to eat a bit more healthily, having said that I love Mexican, Chinese, cheeseburgers, sandwiches, cereal and brownies. and everything else.. except curry (I'm weird) although maybe I've just never had a good one?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

my brother (just sneaked in at #5, sorry bro)
something profound?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
when is my next day off,
geeky nonsense,
possibility of a girlfriend?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
usually at home to be honest,
sometimes cinema with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to use 'the force' to open electric doors

you want to chat for a bit then meet up,
i'm up for drinks, coffee, cinema, London Zoo! or whatever,
If I've looked at your page but not messaged you, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not interested, sometimes I'm just a bit rubbish chatting at first but stick with me, I warm into it :D
also, any North Londoners on here? not a dealbreaker if not, I'm in Enfield and I can get to most places in London pretty easily.

Oh and i just turned 40, but not ready to see it written down yet ;)
