My Self-Summary
Hi, my name is Mary. I really like to learn about history and languages. I speak German, and spent
six weeks in Germany this summer. I would like to learn Spanish and
Arabic next. I love hanging out with friends and traveling. I have
a few random interests, like collecting shot glasses and gnomes,
combining Ramen with as many different foods as I can, and playing
Nintendo 64. I like tattoos and piercings. I
have four tattoos and a lip ring. I am also a huge sports fan, especially baseball and
football...I watch a lot of Sportscenter. I try to eat a lot
healthier than I used to, I love running on the elliptical, and I
walk to school every day, just to stay active. I'm a really loyal
person but I do say what I think - which can be a problem for
people used to playing games and/or not hearing the truth.

Auch gefällt es mir, auf Deutsch zu sprechen und schreiben. Es wäre
toll, wenn ich jemand hätte, mit wem ich mein Deutsch üben könnte.
Als ich in Deutschland war, hatte ich jeden Tag Deutsch gesprochen,

What I’m doing with my life
I'm an education student at Eastern Michigan and I work side jobs
to pay bills until I graduate. I take education and educational
political issues very seriously...I'm really excited to start my
career.
I’m really good at
mocking bad horror films and yelling at football games. In addition
to that I make up a lot of recipes that may or may not be
successful, can beat Banjo-Kazooie in less than five hours, and can
color in the lines.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I love to laugh and most people say my laugh is contagious.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite author is Augusten Burroughs, but I also really like
Khaled Hosseini, Marjane Satrapi, and John Kennedy Toole.
My favorite movies are Anchorman, 300, Dawn of the Dead and The Producers.
I listen to all kinds of music - my favorites are Fleetwood Mac, Lil Wayne, Flight of the Conchords, AFI, the Beatles, System of a Down, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Garth Brooks, Modest Mouse, Panic at the Disco, Beyonce, The Hold Steady, Coheed and Cambria, Daler Mehndi, the White Stripes, Ben Folds, and Kings of Leon, but I will literally listen to almost anything (in case you couldn't already tell by that random ass list).
I really like Middle Eastern, Mexican, Polish and Italian food too.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
money, school, sex, my family...you know, the usual.
On a typical Friday night I am
either at home taking it easy for once or out with friends. Or
working, as it were.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
is that I just recently lost a lot of weight and I'm still working
to lose more.
