Oh, not a big fan of self-summaries as they are oftentimes an exercise in subjectivity. Here are some quick thoughts though:
I've been on a long journey: Eastern Europe, to the Pacific Northwest, to New York City; electrical engineering to liberal arts to business school.
I'm comfortable with who I am, but still journeying.
I'm very affectionate with those I trust...but winning that trust isn't so easy.
I'm good at taking risks--my life history has often left me with no choice, and since grad school, I've been taking risks for a living! I might be craving a slower pace these days.
My friends are my family.
I'm friendly and funny, but you might not see the real me right away.
I can be direct and I'm not easily intimidated.

Recently, trying to find my calling, not just something I'm good at that pays the bills. (When paying the bills was a challenge I thought that was the point, but now that I'm beyond that I realize it's not enough.)

Figuring things out: I analyze markets for a living. But the biggest puzzle seems to be human beings and I'm still contemplating that one.
Being a caring and loyal friend.
Seeing the bigger picture.
Asking questions.

Not sure but probably that I'm tall.

Books: Anna Karenina is probably my all time favorite but my literary taste is pretty eclectic. It includes everything from classic fiction to non-fiction, finance to philosophy.

Movies: The Godfather, The Lives of Others, Before the Rain (Manchevski), After the Wedding, many others. I know a good film when I see one.

Shows: Mad Men, The Wire, Top of the Lake

Music: This one would take too long.

Food: I enjoy food in general but Ethiopian bread remains a challenge. Have recently contemplated possibly learning how to cook!

The limitations of our conscious thought and will. How can we know something but ignore it in practice? See figuring things out/puzzles, above. This one is complicated enough to have kept me busy for a while.
