My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a trans guy going to grad school at UMass, and living in Easthampton. Attempts to distract me from my schoolwork are welcome :) I'm in an open relationship with CorsaireduVide.

Was an INFP my whole life, but I'm transforming into an ENFP. Still figuring this extrovert thing out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working on my PhD in anthropology while doing pre-reqs for med school. The goal is to be out of school before I'm 40....
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about my thesis. But I try not to do that every day. I am also quite good at pretending to be a bewildered baby dinosaur and tromping about in the mountains. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, but that can yield unexpected results.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How flamboyant I am. I'm told before I open my mouth I appear like some sort of sullen tough guy. But I guess the mere act of speaking shatters that completely.

Update: With spring in the air and my short shorts on, the tough guy facade is probably dead.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, David Sedaris. But these days I spend a lot more time reading non-fiction about ecology, public health, and history.

Movies: anything with Muppets in it. I like things with humans in them too.

Music: Eclectic, though I always seem to come back to folk and show tunes. Important for when I'm in a funk and need to get into a paper writing mood: Florence + the machine, The Decemberists, Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, The Head and the Heart, The Magnetic Fields, the Noisettes, Poe, Scissor Sisters, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. I'm really quite embarrassed by my lack of music appreciation in other genres. I'd love to hang out with someone who likes teaching people these things. I also trust 93.9 The River to introduce me to cool new things.

Food: I'd probably stick to coconut curry every night of the week if new awesome things didn't keep grabbing my attention at the grocery store. I truly love trying new food, so it might be better to compile a list of my least favorite foods. This list did not exist until my fieldwork in the Peruvian Andes last summer. Now I can safely say I never want to eat lamb's tail stew or head soup again (though probably only because of the food poisoning). I am a fan of spicy fried grasshoppers.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Exciting weather
Mountains and rivers
Puns
Oxygen
Amino acids
Exogenous testosterone
(Can I have NPR too?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
School, research, and whatever they are talking about on NPR. How long it will take me to bike commute to campus in the morning while minimizing sweatiness and coffee cup spills.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably either really drunk outside mimicking squirrels or wishing that were the case.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Commodity fetishism.

You are queer/trans friendly and don't mind me quoting Futurama at you. Also if you are ok with open relationships--I'm mad in love with my girlfriend and not about to leave her for any of you guys ;)
