I would describe myself as funny, adventurous, artistic, affectionate and someone who loves to laugh and make others laugh and feel the levity and joy in life. I can be very silly and my sense of humor often crass and a little twisted. I'm down to earth, smart and very straight forward with people. I can usually find something positive in everyone. I'm passionate, decisive and have no problem deciding where to go for dinner.
I prefer intimate, meaningful conversation over larger groups or crowds. When I'm with someone special I enjoy being spontaneous, adventurous and romantic. The unknown excites me! Spontaneity and surprise always seem to deliver a special result because when we let ourselves get lost, figuratively and literally(fuck your G.P.S), we open ourselves up to the magic of life and allow ourselves to see the world through the bright eyes of a child. At that moment we are truly alive!
I would say that I'm happiest and most humbled when I'm in the mountains... biking, camping, hiking, snowboarding, or making art.
What inspires me is the sense of perpetual motion and the anticipation of being awe struck and inspired by mother nature... I love the destination but I equally enjoy getting there... I love the journey and I love road trips! I do my best thinking while driving.
I still believe in true love and would consider myself to be a very hopeful romantic. I've never been someone that gets involved in a relationship just for the sake of not being alone or avoiding loneliness. (Perhaps this is why I'm rarely in a romantic relationship... I think a lot of people settle and that's just not me.) I need that indescribable "connection" and am a hold out for the real thing. That said, I'm not looking for perfection or some unattainable ideal of a woman, nor am I looking for a female version of myself. That sounds boring. I am very aware that a good relationship is based on honesty, trust, compassion and compromise. I am a very open minded person but here are a few things I'm looking for in a woman: Ethical, compassionate, funny, fit, sexy, expressive, honest, passionate and healthy.
As I said before, I love spending time doing outdoor activities, but I am also a lover of the arts and am always game to hit a gallery opening, museum, concert or the theater. I'm a true urbanite.
