I am restless, sleeping, and starving.

My Self-Summary

I love the travel. I dream about new places to visit.
I think it's going to be a very hat-ty fall.
I buy books all the time -- even when I have a bookcase full of unread options.
I went to Berlin recently and fell in love.

What I’m doing with my life

Mostly playing Scrabble on Facebook, singing to myself. There's the occasional day at work and cheese-eating.

I’m really good at

not doing work and stalking fares on kayak.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Some favorite books include The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay; The Corrections; Call Me by Your Name; The Collector; Blindness; We The Living. I just read my first book since February: The Shadow of the Wind. Amazing.

I really liked Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona. I heard someone call it a turd of a movie so I guess I like turd.

I have really pedestrian taste in music. As much as I love it, I don't really follow it. I hear a song, I like it, it goes on my iPod. Milow's cover of Ayo Technology (previously by Justin Timberlake and 50 Cent) is pretty awesome. Though right now I'm bouncing between Ray Lamontagne's A Falling Through and Kings of Leon's Fans.

Thai, Sushi, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Belgian, breakfast, really most foods.

The six things I could never do without

my iPod, water (i have a rather religious relationship with water), my passport, YouTube, inappropriately timed naps and books.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

future travel plans...where to go...how much flights are to Europe...which hostel I should stay at while I'm there...how happy I'll be when they stamp my passport at the airport...most of my thoughts do revolve around travel; sometimes, I'll think about Buffy the Vampire Slayer...and the exchange rate.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I bite my fingernails. It's a dirty habit, and now my fingers hurt.
